At times It seems that people criticise it too much. it has become a trend to criticise Hyundai in terms of Handling because there is nothing else to criticise. I am sure that nowadays Hyundais are better handler than many Suzukis and others.
@@ARTISTVAIBHAVYADAV braking is not urgent in verna. As you would expect from a car having 4 disks. Maybe it was how old cars wer made, because new gen verna have better brake feel
Couple of months we bought a Verna diesel 1.6 sx 2012 .And it had done 110000 kms and even after done that many kms the performance was so puchy😍. I mean this product is unbeatable, espicially the diesel. And also the noise level is very good on this beast
The previous gen Verna was so bouncy, they've reduced the bounce to great extent on the latest Verna or atleast that's what I felt when I drove it. Nothing beats the i-VTEC City though.
@@kshitijsharma26 You're absolutely right bro. I had a 2010 Honda City Vmt and that car was such a joy to drive, no car has given me more cheap thrills than that car. I've driven much more powerful cars since owning the City but they still don't live up to its standards.
@@kshitijsharma26 Hold on to that gem of a car man. I regret selling mine each and every day. The third gen City was probably the best looking and had just the right amount of everything. I don't think any other Honda City can ever replicate the design of the third gen.
@@nachikets3x exactly. I really dont wanna sell the car off. This thing is such a gem i just love it.. And about power torque figures u know mods increase power numbers to another level❤
Do you remember what the tire size was? Traction from 205 on 16" is decent ... Also since it is a very soft suspension, the cars grows exponentially planted at higher speeds (130 plus) due to the down-force especially when two occupants are there at the back..
Don't worry it will not damage the engine. He was braking so speed was reduced also. There is a protection because you are not accelerating. So rpm just reach its max limit and speed get reduced. Simple Math... Current Engines are made to protect this behaviour.
@@dasher5320 the protection u are talking about is a rev limiter which is on lay mans terms basically a fuel cutter to the engine. This only activates when ur accelerating not during downshifts. So iif u downshift hard the engine does nothing to reduce the RPMs because mainy theres nothing it can do. Aggro downshifts will 100% damage ur engine in some way or another
I have the 2013 Verna Fluidic Petrol and I have still retained it for its very silent yet powerful engine. They don't make it like then anymore ..6 airbags, 4 disc brakes and a 1600 cc engine..
In 2nd gear, max 5k rpm at around 80~90kmph. Just imagine the engine rpm at 160kph. Extreme stress on the engine and transmission. Should have downshifted sequentially..
you should try Optra Magnum, the first and the only car in India which came with a 2ltr engine, 125hp and all under 10 lacs. I havent driven a car below 15lacs which gave me the same pleasure. You will have a smile plastered on your face when drive it.
What the.... Firsr of all i understand u were on a track but that was not a go kart what were u thinking broo. Wow loved it,btw jtp here would be dope. That is the car to push hard try jtp here for sure.
I wish there was a revolution in affordable car sector just like ktm did for single cylinder market. Going according to power to weight ratio of ktm we can also do with a 300 + bhpish car.
Who said that ? verna can even run in 3rd gear in stand still position and i am talking about diesel not petrol dont say anything without even using it it has 1600cc turbo charged engine bro
@@Aman_Sidhu. Stop being so judgemental bro ....how do you know whether I have used it or not ... Iam talking about the fluidic Verna that run from 2011 to 2016 with the 1.6 CRDi .... It had serious turbo lag under 2k and stalls more and in gear acceleration was just average due to this .... This is one fault that they have worked on in the later gen with an upgraded turbo and tuning ... I am sure you haven't had much experience driving other diesel engines ...bro .. you still think cc is more important.. LMFAO ....
@@cyrilmatthew2995 brooo we have verna 2013 1.6 diesel turbo we know much more then you think do you know turbos dont even activate under 2k rpm it will unlock after 2k rpm and we have driven our car in 3rd gear stand still because verna has close gears in 1st and 3rd so it done by mistake sometimes
@@Aman_Sidhu.Looks like me comment is deleted ...you substantiated my point .... Old Verma's turbo spools quite late at 2k and if you shut before you Gina stall .. Drive a VAG 1.6 TDI from that time ...there boost happens much earlier after 1.5 k rpm so lag is minimal and they have great in gear acceleration.... You having Verna for a decade is before the point bro
@@cyrilmatthew2995ya every car hits turbo in different rpm but the thing is our verna never stall one time i accidentally shift the bigger gear in low rpm and the rpm drops to 900 which is idle rpm of engine still verna easily picked up maybe which verna you have driven have problem but i am not sure maybe
Sir Its my earnest request to you that u plz vlog on the 2nd or 3rd gen swift on the track , It deserves that track driving , and I will like to see u revving the nuts out or the engine . Plz sir keep my request
