You can buy anything as long as you finance it and stretch out the payment terms to fit your doable monthly payment. 36 - 60 months used to be the norm...now they can go as long as 96 months+ 🙄

There used to be cars that were cheaper and of much higher quality, now they are terribly expensive and as soon as you leave the showroom they are already breaking down and mileage of 500,000 kilometers is impossible. and apart from the best thing, no one wants to buy a second-hand electric car from you

@@Nord77 I bought a second hand EV and have been very happy with it, and second hand EV sales are booming. BTW, you are the one ruining yourself with gas, maintenance, and repair. Not to mention you are destroying the heath of your children (pollution) and their future (climate warming). BTW, I have been driving an EV for the last 20 years (starting with a PSA 106) and *NEVER* had any failure. ICE cars are dead.

@@Fester_ What is making you believe that I do drive slowly? I never in my 54 years of driving drove slow, I usually set my cruise control at 118 Kl, in Quebec most highway speed is limited to 100 Kl, but police are fine if you do not go over 120 Kl, and in certain highways, I have driven up to 170 Kl speed, yes in my Bentley Mulsanne. The only ticket I got was because the car in front of me slowed down. After all, the car in front of him had debris and I took the security measure of changing lanes and forgot the darn radar was right there. When I bought this Bentley we took the highway, and the salesman told me "Sir please slow down you are at 180 kl , please Sir you are scaring me"

Well it actually IS dependend on age...just look at the statistics...just because someone is lets say 80, it does not mean he is a bad driver, BUT hearing, sight, reaktiontime etc are decreasing and even thought some do not realise it, they are not as capable as when they are younger...then added to that, there is a higher risk of severe medical situations while driving and a lot of people, that should not be on the road because of illnes or mental issues related from age....so yes, elderly tend not to drive safely...doesn't mean you are one of them, but statistics prove it generally...

@@WiZz_is_mad True I agree with you. But do not forget also new cars many of them do have many cameras, other devices to help driving safer. I have most of my life own Jaguard "when British" BMW, Bentley, why Bentley... for the looks first, second the quality of ordering exactly what you want inside, nothing security-wise is left to you to pick, you can not buy a Bentley without any securities aboard. Yes, I am 70 years old, but until my Birthday in August, I was the owner of a design firm that was able to do 3 former Canadian Prime Minister, 4 former Canadian-Governer-General. And if I feel bad or not in my full capacity ... I do ask my butler to drive instead of myself. No that does NOT happen often. Driving slowly was never one of the many things I did. Not every older person is incapacitated wears glasses or needs a cane or walker to walk around. My house has an inside pool, with a gym, that I use daily, I may not be your typical older person.

@@WiZz_is_mad True, my mother was never a good driver, my dad was but when he was sick with cancer and heart problems, my brother and I paid to have an employee drive both of them. One time my mother asked to borrow my car, i said fine where are you going, she told me to the bank, which is 6 blocks away, I was thinking fine only 6 blocks away, I was busy in the flower garden, 2 hours later my mother came back telling me: "Pierre park the car in your driveway I can't do it." I felt like okay, but why did it take you 2 hours to go 6 blocks away? She said "Oh I did not even need the gas pedal I let the car go at its own speed... I was like okay mom thanks, I took her home, and let the car go on it's own.... IT WAS going at 4 kl per hour I was honestly looking at it thinking ""Oh GOSH"" this is horrible. Thinking of all the people behind her going...many horrible things in their mind. My Mother never drove on any highways, never on busy streets in our town. I did know that my dad was driving her 99.99% of the time.
