This 2002 Honda ST1100 is a comfortable tourer and great pillion bike. I’ve been looking for a clean low mileage example for years and this is about as good as they get here in Ontario, Canada.
So clean, I'm jealous, my 1992 with 70K miles is great mechanically but is showing it's age in the seat and some fading paint. Can't complain though when I paid $1700 and it took me on a 3000 mile ride with zero problems, and still fires up first time every time.
The first adapters/buyers/owners are now selling in large numbers due to their old age .. And quite a few kept their bike in immaculate condition .. It's a great time to pickup a well maintained jewel for a good price.
I just picked up an '01 same color from original owner. 48k miles. It's no car! It's a haul ass wonderful machine. Mine has black widow slip ons as the only non stock item. I love mine. Congratulations to you!
There’s a recall on the tip over switch, Honda will replace it. Check out the Honda St Owners site, there are a lot of events in Ontario to meet up with other ST enthusiasts
she is beautiful, love that color ..... Enjoy her !!! ....I just purchased a 2006 with 70K but the original Arizona owner loved her and I could tell when I went to pick her up ....... they are amazing motorcycles !
Nice! Do you still have the bike? I did a similar deal with a fantastic old guy who had my bike from new in ‘98. Only had 69,000km and had a full Honda service history plus bills. I originally bought it as a winter runabout but they sure do grow on you. I’m now about to replace the rear shock but everything else is stock. Definitely a keeper.
Just watched...just looking at exactly the same..nz$5000....hint for the hazing screen....rub some oil into it with your fingers in circular motion...let it stand for a day then buff lightly with soft cloth.... works wonders too with crazed dial lens....👍
Very nice I have a 1993 ST1100 that I bought New and I still have after 30 years as of April 14th and I was given a Recall notice about that tip over switch and I had it fixed by Brooklyn cycle in Whitby Ont. further more it was designed in Europe for their market and you can drive from London England to Berlin Germany on one tank of gas !
I have a strange situation that happened to me. I don't bring my Paneuropean ST 1100. It's in the legalization process. I usually run it until the fans turn on The other day I did a maintenance on the bike, checked the coolant level and added it, checked the brake and clutch hydraulic fluid levels and added it (DOT4). From then on the bike never started working again, what could it be?? gives a few (very few) explosions in the exhaust
Weighs a ton don't go over tilt angle stationery she will go down! hence those drop rubbers. Great for straight high speed runs. Proper solid Honda build. V4s coming back into vogue.
