The first one is actually the Frontier/Freedom Unite version, Monster Hunter 2's jungle theme is a bit different

Yeah mh2/dos version was easily the weakest of the bunch. I think it was also in freedom 2 but gets replaced once unite is installed. Still remember fighting a rathian first time I got unite and felt something about the jungles theme was different but I couldn't tell if it was always like that or not.

I started in 2nd gen and the new jungle theme bops so freaking hard that I still cant believe its real! Im so glad that new hunters get to see some old maps reborn and their music!

@@sarcirinsdaefarin3950 I'm a 1st gen, I started with Monster Hunter freedom. I'm happy that I get to hear this theme again because I started playing Freedom Unite with my friends. The nostalgia on this map brings me good and bad memories.

I didn't try sunbreak yet but spoiled me guys does this map in the night access to go zone 10 where this island on picture available? Because in older version it didn't connect do to the logic of water level increasing so you can't access it

Yup, theres like a tiny bridge of water connecting the island to the rest of the map, its actually a good idea to fight monsters in that stretch of water too because of certain terrain damage I won't spoil

It's amazing that the old themes from the previous MH games are still as good quality-wise comparing them to the modern ones. I'm no composer or musician but usually, old game music usually has these MIDI artifacts(?) and '8-bit/chiptune' sounds in them that you can easily distinguish which soundtrack is new and old.
