Top video thanks for the upload. Some of the stadiums may have looked drab and probably needed a coat of paint or two, but this was a time when football was a simple game. Also a time when people paid more attention to what was happening on the pitch instead of looking at mobile phone. Stadiums didn't have empty seats neither. Call me old fashioned but I like nostalgia.

Highbury, Upton Park, and Maine Road had good architecture for the Stands / Tribune

I never got to witness Boleyn Ground, Highbury or Maine Road, but thankfully, I've visited Goodison Park, that'll be a stadium lost but never forgotten soon. I'm happy that Craven Cottage has been refurbished, and not smashed up like it means nothing.

Maine road🙌🏻 all time non Wembley attendance record in English football. Was born at St Mary’s in Manchester just next to where Maine Road was being demolished. Unfortunately was before my time :(

Loved Maine Road, a proper football ground ...... loved Roker Park, up at Sunderland too....and the Baseball Ground at Derby.

And this is how you lose atmosphere (by moving to massive bowls with no atmosphere e.g emirates, London stadium, Etihad etc) and lose the terrace they had at the all grounds where atmosphere was made
