After recently buying a semi acoustic 4-string with a 20 fret neck and a P90 pickup, I'm delighted to find Justin's tutorials utelizing different tunings. You can place the man on a pedestal with the burden of carrying a torch, but if you want to help out a little Justin will teach you how. Build or buy a 3 or 4 string. They're lots of fun. And if all you have is a cheap shitty amp to play it through, that'll only add to the low-fi charm.

Just goes to show you, a good guitarist can make even an inexpensive instrument sound great - cause so much of the music comes out of one's heart, head and hands - think about that the next time you see an endless debate over the fine nuances between various models of Les Pauls, effects pedals, amp types, etc. All of those are important and can inspire, but they're not even close to what is most important!

Just ordered my first cigar box guitar last night... finally at 50 y/o can learn some pickin'. Add it to my list...
