In this video, I am old school crappie fishing with @huntingNfishingwithcnboutdoors . We are old school crappie fishing with live minnows under a slip bobber. We are crappie fishing in East Texas and we are able to find a few 14 inch slab crappie. Crappie fishing without livescope is what they call old school crappie fishing now a days. I also share a secret on what are the best hooks for crappie fishing with minnows, and tips while fishing with live minnows. I hope yall enjoyed this video.

The crazy thing about Wisconsin is, the fish knows. Most people without boats can't get out to the fishing spots to catch nice sized pan fish when they are in spawn or post spawn. They miss the peak times of actually sitting on the banks because of weather being so brutally cold. As a result, the fish are able to spawn and move out before being caught and harvested, which makes them survive and and start to over populate the lakes. Not to mention; the state is allowing people to buy up, and place homes on the edges of the lakes of Wisconsin, which hinders access to fishing these public waters. This is why there's no size limit on what you can harvest for pan fish in the state of Wisconsin. There are some monster pan fish here in Wisconsin, and I plan on collecting as much as the state regulated limit allows me too, because I have my boat (with electronics) now. The size of those crappie that they are releasing are considered "Slabs" here in Wisconsin.

The crappie in the south I have noticed tend to be better quality from up north. But if a 9-10 inch fish is a nice fish Up there, then that’s fine. Not like you or anyone can determine that. Thanks for watching! God bless brother

@@903fishing Grenada has some good fish for sure,I’ve been doing pretty good at Sardis. Fish have been holding in 14 to 16 feet of water in 17 to 20 feet deep water in the standing timber! 👍
