hello les gars je comprend pourquoi tout le monde me traite de tarer, je suis débutant en snowboard j'ai 35ans je découvre les plaisirs de la montagne au travers ma board mais j'ai encore du chemin en progression. Merci pour ce petit reportage
I LOVED 'Wild Duck' boards in the early Ninties! One of my "bosses", at Okemo rode them 90% of the time. I had, by then, "other-Brand" commitments, but still, kept my Feet on the Competition, as an "observer". The Ducks were equal-to Nitro, LaCroix, Sims, and Better-Than Burton then. Sadly, not as good as My '94 sponsor. Few made 200cm boards, in any case, so, My Options were limited, but that company Provided, and somehow Survived. Yet, 'Ducks' have a pull on the heart-strings, and their 'Race-Style' boards were utterly EPIC!! They even put Charlie Cavanaugh on their PRO team, with a 'Pro Model' Freestyle board he Refined while surfing The Pipe (Which i designed at Okemo) , the "Blanco Gulch" at Mt. Snow, and his Home-Park (which, then, was dug-out by Backhoe) at "BURNSIDE" Park, later named after the late & Great Doug Burnside. Charlie was one of those, along with Notables like Ford, Brandon, Brushie, & Richards, who came outa the Green-Mountain Series of Pipe/Park contests leading-up-to the '96 Olympics. Good times, great Riders, and awesome boards underfoot! Progression at it's Best! "PSR"
