Did you say just a little sketch??? Omg this hike has been absolutely huge sketch! I fell 20 times watching you… those bar steps, jagged boulder scrambles, and Ice & snow? Oh yeah! Increadible, amazing, soul stirring! Maine has always been my happy place. This is an area I’ve never had the chance to explore. Probably because it’s so remote. On the longest days of the year you keep going and going. Louisianan it is still brutally hot and humid with that exertion. Take care of yourself. That song that view that sunset and my beloved Maine night sky…just WOW.

Here in AZ we are over 100 it's going to be 114 today but it's a dry heat . I used to live in South Carolina for 11 years and I like the dry heat better lol I dispersed camped in the Chattahoochee National Forest and down the forest road from the southern terminus for 7 months from 2019-2020 best time I've ever had

He didn’t hike 27.5 miles. That figure in the corner of the FarOut graphic is the length of the section from Hanover to Grafton Notch. He did about 12 miles from that shelter to the fire tower. Still great. Just wanted you to understand the graphic. The best way to figure mileage is to look for the mile he ended up at, at bottom left, compared to end of last video at same spot on graphic (day before ended at 1915).

Absolutely amazing! I got a rush just watching you scramble over those rocks and up those ladders. This is no longer a hike. It is rock climbing. It will be a joy to see you touch that Katahdin sign! Hopefully mostly back to hiking for a while. Man that fire tower footage is 💥💯💥

Thanks for another great video! ❤ That's one tough workout and climb. 😮 You make it look easy, 😅 but I know it's not. I've seen a lot of great videos of the area, but yours brings everything to life. I was really surprised to see the snow and ice. But definitely refreshing I'm sure on a hot day. It's probably a better time of the year to tackle the area. Anyone could get seriously injured there any time of the year. Just curious do they have a blue blaze for that area? 😅 Thanks for taking the time for the fire tower.
