I would just like to say whoever came up with the concept of this program and brought theses truly wonderful people together should be knighted. The fact that you have such a caring attitude to the items that are brought in and in some cases find yourselves (and us viewers) getting emotional over objects and stories just shows how dedicated you all are to your crafts. I often wonder if there would ever be a spin-off program called the Apprentice Repairer where you would teach new people to have the same talent and love or items that you do. Nothing would please me more than to spend a month learning Leather work from Suzie and watching Steve, Rob and the toy ladies bring life back into people broken hearts. Thank you all for a lovely peaceful TV moment.
I love this show. Watching the staff fix the antiques and seeing the owners get their antiques back repaired brings back so many memories for them. The staff bring back memories of their loved ones.
Will - the base of that spinning wheel was supposed to remain tilted. You would have known that had you truly researched spinning wheels. Many have tilted bases for a reason.
Well I found part 2 to this, but wished I could see the big reveal! What a tease not to watch these full episodes. The Repair Shop is great. Watched it on PBS then Netflix. Would like to see more!!
Thanks for nothing with this clip. Honestly, the LEAST interesting part of the program is the back story behind the piece to be repaired …. and that’s all we get from this clip. What a waste of 5 minutes !
