Time for more daybreak fun

I am sure you learned about it by now but the Shard skills are not limited by what you have access to right now, it sounded like you think you can only boost the skill you see directly in the maintenance mode so I wanted to mention it just to be safe. Gonna give bit of a rundown on how it works bellow, check if you want or don't, there are some mechanic spoilers obviously Every character can get every Shard skill provided they have the elemental values in given line, the Shard List is the best way to see what you can get and decide based on that Just because Van starts with Flare Boost doesn't mean he is only one with it and has only that, he can get any elemental boost on his attack based on which quartz you set in there, each character can get the finisher attack skill for weapon line, each character can (And should cause it is extremely busted) access the shard shield skill for defensive line, each character can get arts followup for drive line and so on Each line has few 'unique' skills like the ones I mentioned and more generic elemental ones Attack line elements give occasional boost to basic attacks and crafts with their given element Defense line elements give damage reduction from given element Drive line elements boost arts damage with given element occasionally Elements in extra line have unique start of battle effect like starting with buffs or even stealth Some of the skills are very powerful but are bit more difficult to set up obviously and certain characters have naturally better prerequisites for given skills due to their elemental locked slots, as these slots DOUBLE the elemental value you get from the quartz you slot in - not 100% sure now if setting multi element quartz doubles both elements or only the locked one but... I think it does both? It has been a while I personally am fond of this system, even if it does mean there are some 'optimal' ways to build characters rather then fully up to you how you wanna go about quartz setups (I know that Arts focused Laura is stupid, but it was still really fun to do cause of how weird it is), still, I do think some of the skills are really fun to use and some of them can really change the flow of battle

I'd still keep an eye on those Calvard spies. never know when you have double agents going around, plus there are plenty of shady characters around

Ok so yeah. The alignment system. I'm not super sure exactly. A part of me thinks its just a gimmick to get you to replay the game by locking certain content, otherwise hmm. There's really not much I can say right now since its just speculation until we see something tangible. Hmm. Orbal staves used to be quite uncommon, but now? I was just talking about unlocking more slots. I guess orbments kinda function in that way. A completely new orbment system at this point is still really confusing to me. No idea if it'll get better as we progress

Most of those books about famous characters are based off of real people or a certain vampire or gambler, Jack, and two would be former assassins. And I’m gonna assume Agnes, it’s probably based off of her grandmother, but the same name or relative.??? Because most of these characters in the books are based off of real people and the books are just exaggeration . The former assassins in the book were adults and got married at the end of the story , but actuality they were just kids that escape from a shady organization of assassins.🤔🤔😊😊😊😊😊

Maybe I forgor but I dont think I saw kilika in the opening? Its possible I just overlooked it but its kinda strange if she doesnt show up. Or its possible she does show up but not in the opening. The achievements thing I'm surprised it took them so long to implement The calvard newspaper seems(?) to be like, private. It would be interesting if there was like two different newspaper to read Oh hey they even directly talk about sunshine agnes face to face. Not that I have any idea. Like we had carnelia, then its implied gambler jack is real and somewhere as well, and then after that is red moon rose/roselia, and then 3 and 9, and there might have been one or two more I'm not sure. It would be really funny if we walked past someone important without realizing but I'm not sure if falcom has done that before. So yeah uh. There's apparently a bath house right nearby. But of course they are closed. I think crossbell was the only one with a distinct lack? Hmmm. In cs1 it was weird since the trip to ymir took place offscreen in the drama cd. I do wonder how long until van actually makes a mistake though. Hmm. They keep hinting at all these stuff but whoo knows. Like its one thing in disgaea, but here. I do wonder though. In the past before the internet, I guess they would rely more on paper items. Even nowadays there are still some, so more I guess Oh. I'm an idiot. I was wondering what 4 meant, but it just means for sprigan
