Trucks have come a long way.. so has photography 😂 Some seriously nice trucks from back when... Makes me wish i was born 30 years earlier. Great slide show 👍🏻👍🏻
Just wondering as an ol…. seasoned truck driver from Canada, I’ve driven most of the North American units you’ve shown here, but is metal corrosion ie body, and chassis an issue down under? You’d be hard pressed to find most of these trucks up here nowadays. I owned KW K-100’s, though a few old units find there way to the Caribbean and Central America back in the day. I’m originally from Scotland, so nice to see the diversity, though my memories from there the “ Yoke’s “ as my dad used to call them where from the 40’s,50’s and 60’s. There where still a lot of coach built cabs back in the day. I still drive, but don’t care much about the newer trucks, but they are more comfortable to drive in the winter. Fleet department is telling us, that the 2027 Volvo’s won’t have side mirrors! All done with cameras. I think my exit is coming up pretty soon. 👋
hahahaha Yes i fully Understand mate I am soooooo glad i lived when i did I would hate to born in todays rubbish world, I always say to my kids, Thank Goodness I will be dead soon LOL
I honestly believe when the Tamper with how you drive a truck, maybe it is time! They need to leave truck driving to the driver's and stop telling them how to drive. Taking the cowboys out and replacing them with squirrels, the good ol days are gone.
