Don’t forget to read the description for additional resources and links~ NEW PHYSICS TUTORIAL HERE: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kTbhZQ7AVwg.html Thank you so much for watching my vids!! I’ll try my best to make more Live2D related content besides just streaming~
I'm rewatching because I'm rigging my friend's model for her. But this tutorial helped me make the model (Albeit not very good) I'm using rn. Thank you very much and I'm glad seeing how much you have grown. Cheers!
Shoutout to the competing live2d awards entrees... Good luck to all of you! I'm participating but I am a bit behind as I still have a substandard understanding on how to use physics. However, your video will help deerly! Thank you!
I've been trying to rig my 2d thing forever and the parameters won't let me do anything? Everytime I move one it makes a part of the model just disappear and I don't know why.
I feel like I won't cover expressions in the future, sorry! I do think that expressions are simply additional parameters, there's a documentation about how you set up the expressions for facerig iirc
Thanks for the tutorial got my model working! Quick question though how do you do the character light up when you are talking? (sorry I'm not sure what its called)
Just search “discord reactive png” here on YT :D Just in case you have more questions, you can view my Live2D FAQ stream here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3JVmd7GW0rY.html The questions are timestamped in the description too ^^
These videos are wonderful and I greatly appreciate them, I have been able to successfully rig my model using your steps!!! Do you think you would be able to reupload these videos with increased and normalized volume? This video is very, very quiet and even with my volume turned up it's hard for me to hear what you were saying in this and some of the other videos... Regardless, thank you for all the work you've put in!!!
but you dont expleain how to use the physic on the animation menu :( ,,,,,,,, i mean the ,, for what that physic for ,,, imean ,,, is that the final works of setting that pendulum imean ,yeah :'(
Edit: figured it out haha Heya Kira. I applied physics to my model's hair and it seems to not be working. Any tips on fixing this? Any help is appreciated QQ
Hi Kira! I can't make the body move in facerig (in Live2D It works), It just breathing in facerig. What can I do? Thank you for making those tutorials by the way, It helped me a LOT.
Thank you! I have a question. When I press "Add" in output settings, a pop up window appears with a bunch of parameters. But when I select my output parameters like Hair sway, Pony sway etc, the "Ok" button is greyed out and not clickable.
Perhaps you haven't set the actual left and right motions in the hair sway / pony sway parameters? The parameter must be filled out to be used in physics.
@@PokeDragoKnite The parameters are filled and the whole model is complete, and I've made many animations with it. But when I try to add physics, the output parameters selection just doesnt work
iv watched this video about 6 times over, and for some reason when i go to set any type of physics, none of it applies, i even added more too the pendulum just too see if anything sticks, and nothing
I manually added in Angle X, Z and Body X, Z for the Input settings because they were not present when I created the Input. I followed the directions given and the hair does not move. Could you elaborate further on those parameters since you did not include them in your previous videos?
i clicked play and my guys eye brows were going everywhere, i have no idea wtf its doing. do it need to animate everything for it too work or something? or is it that everything needs a parameter to work?
How do you apply physics to the model so you can record it for animation? I have the physics set up, I just have no clue how to apply it to my model, to make an animation with it.
I believe it has something to do with the parameter settings, I’m still not quite sure how to make a custom one But Live2D has a default breathing parameter when you make a model, make sure to not delete it if you plan on making a breathing movement. To make the movement, just assign parameters to a deformer (or deformers) that you’re gonna use for breathing
@@KiraOmori omg thank you for replying! ❤️i luckily got it to work somehow! i think i did accidently delete the default param when i first started the model. i got it to work again by right clicking on the breathing parameter i made ---> Edit Parameter and then changing the ID to "ParamBreath"
When you make your own model, Live2D already has a Breathing parameter and I use that. I don't make a new parameter for Breathing since I wouldn't be sure if Facerig will detect it.
I need help, I'm trying to add hair physics but I always a warning that says "Couldn't find the following perimeters in model. Apply on the existing perimeters: ParamAngleX, ParamAngleZ, ParamBodyAngleX, ParamBodyAngleZ" and my pendulum doesn't move anything. The video doesn't really show the beginning steps for the physics (but your tutorials have been SUPER helpful), and I can't find another video explaining it. help?
I think it's telling you that Live2D couldn't find the head and body angle parameters that it needs. Have you made and completed the head and hair parameters already? Did you delete any parameters during your process? You could double check if you have the parameters by right-clicking on the head angle parameter and clicking Edit. Double check if the head angle parameter's ID matches the appropriate one found in the video. and what do you mean by the beginning steps of the physics? o: I did make sure to show the setting of the parameters first, how to set up the physics (input and output) and the explanation for the movement of the pendulum. I don't think that there are any more steps than that ;_;
@@KiraOmori Sorry, I think my problem was that I got too ambitious and started creating my own parameters, and I think I just confused the program. Keep up the good work!
hi! can i ask how the breathing animation was automatically playing in the physics preview? was it a can3 file? if so, how to make it happen, along with blinking? thank you!
oh I'm not sure o: it's the default breathing parameter for Live2D; when I make a new model it just comes with it! I'm sorry for not being able to answer your question, I am not familiar with can3 files ^^;
Kira Omori ahh i can’t afford facerig so ill be using vtube studio by denchi. been trying to get the blinking working by fixing param IDs but to no avail
