One question, I don’t speak Farsi but shouldn’t Vatanam be “Fatherland”? IIRC in Indo-European languages F/V/P is almost always the paternal while M is almost always the maternal

why Vatanam is translated as motherland? in german we have the term Vaterland, very similar to Vatanam, Vater is pronounced like Vata, but means father not mother???
Vatan was borrowed from the Arabic 'watan', it's not related to other Indo-European words. 'Homeland' would be a better translation than 'motherland' but that's a stylistic choice.

I understand you...i know you don't belive me but the Qajar dynasty is a turkish dynasty who is a Persian mixture of turkish....short of long...its a turkish dynasty....like Safavid and Afshars (which is both used Azerbaijanian as main languange...don't care the land...care the leader who is turk himself) and you need to know that the Gold Heads (thats what is called in Azerbaijan) are maded in Ardabil which is a still under the Azerbaijanian-Turkish country (Qaraqoyunlu)
