I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

i think youll find that most homeless americans don't want homes, they want what they have access to on the streets. its incredibly sad and human nature hasn't caught up with society, nor will it ever, but there's a reason people live near other people.

"Fun" fact: The long grass that has gone to seed is known here in Australia as Whiskey grass. Cause in the 1940's American Whiskey was shipped in crates from the USA and transported by train across Australia. The seeds spread and it is found everywhere here.

That burned down building is relatively new, I did a bit of research and yeah, that happened in April 2023. I am from Alabama, though not there anymore. Like you, I won't say where this place is located, but I found the information about it and the area. It was abandoned in 2017, but built more than 30 years ago though which explains the sturdy construction. The shops you saw sold handmade, one of a kind goods such as quilts, home-made pickled/preserved foods and other goods and was designed to be like a "Shopping Village."

I'm a paranormal investigator and love abandoned places like this. Sounds like at 28.36 timeframe you caught a female voice saying thank you. It also sounds like you caught another voice in the trailer house. I have to re-listen to them. The things slamming can be the wind moving stuff and the doors. But this is an amazing find and don't blame you for telling where it's located so people don't vandalize the places. Great not to see any graffiti. Just amazed how people would get up and leave stuff behind. Wonder about the history, etc. Great video and explore. Thxs for sharing

Vandalism is in American DNA. It's everywhere. Nothing can be left alone without being trashed sooner or later. I had somebody's that spent days with sledgehammers vandalizing a building that was slated to be remodeled. You probably couldn't pay them to do the work but they go in there free and laugh.

Correction: vandalism is in _human_ DNA. Anywhere there are humans, there is vandalism. Even in ancient history, humans encountering other civilizations, their first instinct is to destroy or deface their artifacts/ sculptures/ structures. There is graffiti in literally every country in the world.
