Was doing pretty good at the auction, hadn't spent much money, then this thing came up... Now I've got to figure out what to do with this thing, any ideas? Rat sled maybe, if I could rig a clutch up on it.
I know it's from 2016 but thanks for the video. I just picked one of these up over the weekend on an old Kut-Kwick brush mower. (Pic on My RU-vid Community tab)
I had one of these in the early '70s, found it in the woods as a teen and dragged it back home. Yours would have originally had a rectangular gas tank and perhaps a Fairbanks-Morse magneto. Mine must have been from the 1950s as it had a rope pulley start. Worked really well after new rings and I sold it for $25.
@@toocheaptosmoke Right on. I have one myself. They aretruly massive engines. Good luck to you. Sounds like it needs a little TLC. well worth it. George.
Ya nice engine , I got me one similar to that no electric start but big displacement , ID plate is missing so not sure what version of Wisconsin it is but working on it ,
I have one, a rope start, It's on a Winpower 2200 watt generator, it was also missing the engine ID. I'm sure mine is a bit older than the one in the video, it works great, except yanking on the rope starting it is a real ballbuster.
Hahahahaha hahahaha hahahahaha hahahaha hahahahaha, I loved that what the hell did I just buy, awesome, boy sounds like me in a big house with 7 lawn mowers 3 edgers and no grass to cut!!!!!
Aleast that 7/8" spark plug didn't break off after 60 years like some so called modern engines. Ps keep up the sarcasm, man you had me laughing, least you got her running, good job!
It's a "Wisconsin" so it should relate to dairy products... you could have it churning a batch at your swap meet space. Will it fit in the trunk of the half fast Charger?
