I disagree would limit the type/attribute decks too much, while doing nothing to limit level decks. Unless this means the level decks don't get to play multiples of spell/traps unless they have to do with levels or numbers. In which case that'd limit level decks way too much.

@@theblasblas there is a massive amount of cards that can be played at 1 copy, even in goat. It is tiresome to have every deck rotate between the same generic 15 spell/trap pool. While the reason is obvious, since Goat has clearly superior options, limiting them and forcing the players to narrow down through worse cards adds to the challenge and may bring out rare gimmicks that could be hilariously sad or righteously clutch. More card diversity > 3 copies of Book of Moon, Sakuretsu Armor, Nobleman of Crossout, Dust Tornado, in half the decks (this is a principle of concept through generalization, not a literal ‘fact’). Relative to how strict you go with the limitation would base if it is overbearing, this is something that can be play tested and reflected on in later vids to achieve a balanced middle ground. It is a matter of blue printing so that decks are not different from only the monster cards and a hand worth of backrow.

Gravity Bind, can be such a useful card when not used against you, lol. I completely forgot that about cyber jar. I know it cohosh be used in this format, but I used to love using it in duels.

If Ruxin used Dust Tornado immediately he would not have taken the 500 damage from Rock Bombardement, then he would have won in the end game using Book and Compulse on the 2 highest attackers

I'm glad modern rules guru Coder was confused by the Book/Sak interaction... Being a YugiBoomer, I'm used to Book universally dodging targeting effects (The logic was that the targeted monster is no longer on the field, it loses it's identity when it becomes facedown). Anyway, modern yugioh seems weird as heck when like Fenrir/Flamburg/etc targets a face-up monster, chain Book, and the effect still goes through...

Nah book of moon doesn't take the monster off fhe field. It sets the monster. And when any card goes face down it is no longer considered the same card. And vice versa if a card pops face downs only, if that card can be flipped up before resolution, it is no longer considered the same card.

Definitely need some spell/trap ones. ● only common spells/trap, equal to half your deck. ●only rare spells or rare traps equal to half your deck ●Only 10 spell/traps ● your deck must contain only traps and level 5 or higher monsters. ● Your deck must be 75% spells.

Make a choice on the wheel can only take cards from 3 of goat boaster sets but the three will be listed on there just to avoid super synagy but you have to use at least 1 card from each

A few potential ideas for the wheel. • No cards that have been errata'd (might be a challenge as yugioh definitely has a lot of them) • No extra deck allowed (yes some decks are already like that in goat format) • Only monsters with X amount of attack or Defense (perhaps more or less) • Use a deck without X attribute • Ban all cards that swap cards. (I.e no change of heart, exchange, brain control, snatch steal, etc.) • Only allow spells/traps that affects you and/or your opponent. (So Exchange would be allowed, card destruction, giant trunade, heavy storm, etc... but what would be banned would be cards like harpies feather duster, the forceful sentry, change of heart, brain of control, etc would be forbidden.)

So I think for Spell cards, you can add something like "for each monster type in your deck, you must include at least one equip spell that is specifically for that monster type. Top priority goes to the LOB equips." (so for example, if they have *any* Spellcasters they **must** include at least one Book of Secret Arts. Same applies for Mystical Moon if there is a Beast Warrior, Violet Crystal for Zombie, etc. And if it hasn't been added since last week, I suggested that every card should be singleton.

@@aldenpezo6661 well for starters before his defenders get mad at me for not mentioning him and his ex were bad for each other they both treated each other poorly. But him choking her and slamming her down on a bed just because she didn't want to "sleep" with him is unacceptable. To me I find that impossible to reconcile with. I don't think I or anyone else but his ex is owed an apology but I can not see him in a favorable light anymore because of it. Not calling for "canceling" just my own personal viewpoint on it.

As far as I know, he beat them like half a year or something. He just sent an appeal and talked about during a stream afaik. He's just been bing chilling and doing judge talk/ruling streams with some casual streams here and there. Farfa I think mentioned him hitting up a recent tournament with him.

To teach coder goat format it's really easy. Guy has high attack, guy is good monster. Spell and trap can destroy card, spell and trap is good. Gives high stat gain, card is good. Card is floodgate even by todays standards, card is goated. And most important rule of goat format, if Summoned Skull is an option, it's the best card ever.

I skipped forward to the 10 mins mark and instantly saw some pacman wtf 😂 Do people actually still play this? Doesn't nobleman, rai break, light of intervention, etc. delete this deck? Though no one plays light I would definitely side deck it if I knew there were some pacmans showing up.
