Hello! You just mentioned "acrylic ink". I have a variety of them, and they are probably Liquitex! Yes, I am excited again! I will get to experiment with them! This is how we learn! Thank you for the tip on the Black. You are correct and I knw that all of us appreciate your sharing! Time to watch your tutorial!!! -Darlene

Beautiful! Can I ask what brand of waterslide you use? I bought some off of Amazon and it's terrible! Cracks and the ink fades even though it's been throughly sealed and left for 2 days!

I purchase mine through New Found Finishes. She only sells clear waterslide for laser printers though.

I absolutely love your tutorials! Just wondering tho, how many scoops of nice and thick did you use to have such minimal dripage? And wanted to say mint and chocolate should never be combined 😂
@LovelyLouLouDesigns
@LovelyLouLouDesigns 3 года назад
Thanks Sam! I didn't count my scoops but maybe in the area of 6? My first scoops were much larger. I added a lot less towards the end because it thickens fast towards the end. But yes, not to be dramatic but chocolate and mint flavour combo is THE WORST! 😂🤣

I’m new to waterslides. When you say “kiss cut” (probably not what you’re saying 🤣🤣🤣) what do you mean? Do you have a video for it? I have purchased your hot chocolate image like this and would love to make it like you’re doing in this tutorial ♥️
@LovelyLouLouDesigns

The kiss cut is the version of the file with the white background. It basically defines the edges for your cutting machine if you're planning on using the print and cut feature on your machine. I don't use it all the time because print and cut really limits your printing space, but I had a couple files I was printing that day that needed to be an exact size so I threw this design on that sheet to maximize my paper use. If you are printing on a transparent waterslide paper, you can print using any program and just cut it out by hand. You don't have to be right up against the design's edges. As long as you apply the waterslide on unsanded epoxy, you shouldn't see the waterslide edges after you've epoxied over your design.

nice video, but way to long in watching the wood grain process, I felt that you could have knocked off 20 minutes just by editing the repeat of watching you go over and over the woodgrain part.

I try to explain my process as much as possible to break the steps down and help people who are maybe newer and unfamiliar with the process or materials. I also try to answer questions I hear a lot to try to reduce the need for questions later. You can totally fast forward through what you don't need to watch but I'd rather have too much info than not enough. Thanks for watching! 🙂

Wow. I think you meant to say... Thank you for taking time away from your family and business to provide us with thorough and informative content FOR FREE! It’s not like she has to do this. She’s very generous with her expertise. If you don’t like it, may I recommend you start your own RU-vid channel and see how easy it is. The entitlement is staggering.

Well said Roxy. The time it takes to do these tutorials is not the time we watch it in. There is hours and hours of work. I appreciate every thing she does for us and while im not new to tumblers i still love watching tutorials, especially when you are watching LLD, whose talent is out of this world! And if you dont realise, she is showing the most important step when starting a design. If your first step is not quite right then the rest of the design will be sub standard
