I'm in my early 60's and already struggle with joint and back pain, and growing older scares me. I'm actually hoping I don't get that far 😒

how about seniors activity centers like we have here in North Hollywood California. And weekly travel to parks ,movies, sceinic drives , and arts, dance , cooking party. etc to name a few. you should have weekend seniors day gathering s . talk to your Mayor or town council. Have something going on for all of you. loneliness is not good for the mind and health. maybe the Churches can help too. go bowling alley and have fun. creat an art school of your favorite photos. do some karaoke singing your favorite songs. or play bingo or games you like. Have seniors dinner and or Hawaiian night party . everything is possible. write a letter to your politicians. get your family or children involved too. God is Love in Christ Jesus. 🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼

Sounds like a wonderful idea but unfortunately, local councils have had their funding drastically cut and it's the most vulnerable in society who suffer as a result. However, organisations such as Age UK provide services and practical support to enable older people to reconnect with their communities by organising various social events/activities to help prevent loneliness and isolation.
