Many gen z knows that Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you Never gonna make you cry Never gonna say goodbye Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
They're all meme songs like Ain't Gonna Give You Up. I've heard these before they were memes. I've heard of the Rick Roll, but after I liked the song since it was one of my first times hearing it. Everybody Wants To Rule The World was always on Classic Rock radios a lot in the 2000s and I've loved it ever since. I was a kid back then as I was born in 2000. I loved the sound, tempo, and melody of the instrumental then and I love it now.

@@Nunyabusinesssa i am pretty sure, that the title refers to pre gen-z songs that are known by gen-z people. As far as i understood this, this statement does not state, that every person, that knows these pre gen-z songs is gen-z. This is how i understood it, but i want to point out, that i am not a native English speaker, therefore i could have easily misunderstood this sentence. Please don’t correct me if i made any mistakes spellingwise or grammatically, because i have no respect for this language.
Man. Its like millenials forgot that we were self aware kids in their teenage years. It would actually be memorable for us because these songs would be playing in the radio for the hundredth time.

No matter what era, no matter what age, good music will always be recognized as good music. Our specific tastes and genres are our own, but everyone will recognize the classics.
