This needs to be higher on the RU-vid algorithm. I spent all day doing the PVC support system. No way will it hold a hard rain or good snow. Save your time/money this is the design I wish I found first!
Built mine with 2 8 foot 2x4s for horizontal and 3 uprights and joined them on the middle upright. Worked great. Set up in minutes. Super strong. Thanks for sharing the design.
I fill pickle pails with sand and put a 4 by 4 in the middle of it. Then screw a 2 by 4 across. Here in Michigan it freezes sold during winter and doesn't move.
How did you get the pontoon boat off the trailer.I need to replace my bunk boards. I dont have a scissor trailer i'm guessing that what u have. Great video i'm building it today Im tired of messing with poles.😀
Yes, I used a scissor trailer. If you don't have a scissor trailer, the easiest thing is to put the boat in the water, replace the bunks and then put the boat on the trailer. You can use wooden blocks and a jack to raise the boat off of the trailer but risk denting the pontoons. Good luck.
