I like your work. I'm just commenting this tip so that people can hopefully get more consistent bakes out of their clay in the future: The baking temperature and time on the package is what manufacturer considers ideal. If you are not using a calibrated lab oven, you probably are not getting that perfect bake and burning clay releases toxic fumes. A home oven usually fluctuates about 10-20° up or down from what it's internal thermostat reads as the temperature that you set it for. The oven' goal is to average close to the temperature it is supposed to be baking at. The thermostats are not always accurate and the fluctuation in toaster ovens are worse. That variance and inaccuracy the oven manufacturer usually considered "fine" for food, but for clay that is sometimes the difference between the bake and burn temperature. Almost all polymer clay is stable at and below its suggested bake temperature. By being stable at that temperature, I mean it should not burn if you leave it at that stable heat all day. The problem is that your oven probably spiked above the burn temperature. Most polymer clay can actually come almost indistinguishably close to fully baked at 10° below the manufacturer suggested temperature if you bake for a longer time. If you don't want to get an in the oven thermometer and actually watch your clay bake, try that.
Stole frome the elves... STOLE!? I was payment for their dishonor and acts of treason, and it was also the dwarves gem to start with. Your in the book!
Beautiful. Well done. My only nit pick is I'd check the dwarf king on the throne and shave enough off the stones that his feet rest on the bottom., But it is minor. You did a great deal with very little and sculpted. Nicely done.
I understand that being worried about how things will turn out helps your process but I must respectfully say you have nothing to worry about. Looks like a legit kit and studio painted. Awesome work.
Damn man, that's better than the original. Also, I think you can call that pony painting trauma conquered. You'll be ready for Golden Demon before you know it.
Great seeing you take these big steps in the hobby. You’ve always been great at painting but seeing your sculpting and kitbashing skills come on is ace!
Damn dude turned out awesome! Get this man a 3D printer and he’ll be unstoppable. Also tell that guy in front of you at the hobby shop to hurry up, he’s holding up the stairs
Loos very good. I enjoy Your very vibrant colours. I have a similar style so those are a nice source of inspirations. I do not like the baking part. I think there are better sculpting materials. There are also things like texture rollers that could help too. Overall a very good job!
Crazy looking model, it's fatastic! I too want to enter in the world of kitbashing but I was always weary of the price point, luckily I found some EU mini makers that seems cheap so I will def try it Also idk... I hoped you would place a smashed flower behind the wheels, right now it looks like the dwarf are carefully avoiding smashing flowers..... not very ""dwarf-ish"" imo :D
This kicks ass, my goodness... Also, was that Vault you went to in Brisbane??? I didn't get a chance to go last time I was up there for work, but I'm hoping to on my next jaunt. Looks awesome!
@@anvilofdoomminiatures Your placement on the tufts is a bit linear, if you clump them together or stuff them into the recesses under the rocks they'll look a bit more natural. If natural is what you're going for of course.
