Loved the background and end result. I’ve always enjoyed bringing old things back to life. My family and I moved from US to Switzerland in the last year and as a result we have have biking a lot more. I’ve gained a new passion watching your videos and have been fixing up neglected bikes in the village. I’m not doing awesome paint jobs like you but rather the mechanical function. Stay well. Thanks for sharing all you do and the inspiration.

Same here. It looks weirdly dirty or something. Paintjob itself is nice, colors just don't do it for me.

@@beatbox9985 those would be great as the placeholders for if you try and do a job that he does. Just put em on, paint over them and boom you got your basic outline I guess. Could go further in by cutting up the stickers for layers

Hey, I just wanted to say that you really inspire me. I loved every built just like this one. You really do a great job every time. I once restored a bike when I was younger which was a lot of work. Now I do it again and at first I thought of taking the easy route, cleaning it a bit, adjusting the shifting and done. But you inspired me to really do something special and different. Thank you 👍

When I walk in to my local bike shop 8 miles from my house and past two other shops, I get greeted just like that. They see me and say my name and it really does make you feel good. I’ve bought like 8 bikes ( or more ) over the last 15 years as well as accessories. I’m a customer for life.

nice job. I owned a similar frame, the SX Trail it was. few downsides of the frame which can be remedied: head angle and wheelbase can be tuned by fitting a works angle-headset and off-set bushing in the damper. rear triangle can be stiffened up by using a through-axle hub and 10x135mm axle (like the DT RWS)

You are in for a treat when riding a legendary bike brand. I had an FSR XC Pro and it was the best ex test rig I bought from my friends who ran a bike shop for their boss. Still havd the frame but a couple of cracks on the seat tube above the bottom bracket shell means that due to the frame being aluminium you get it welded but can not guarantee it will not break again. Excellent content.

Yet. 🙃 Personally, I thought the frame looked best when it was all white but obviously I didn't have your finished vision in my head.
