Fun fact: the dragonforce drummer reacted to this and was like 😮. He said it was the best cover he's ever seen. Also I think she's in her early 20s. She's already toured with a couple bands too.

Junna is Amazing! Just watched her do Painkiller by Judas Priest, and it doesn't disappoint. How I found Junna was watching a reaction Video By the Guitarist of Dragonforce Herman Li losing his mind watching a girl Named Tina S play ALL the Solos to THIS song! without missing a Note! most amazing thing about it was she was only 15 years old when she filmed it! it's something to see! Glad you finally discovered this tiny dynamo. LOL First time I saw her was for her cover of Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force. I saw the title and saw the thumbnail and was like "Who is this and how does she even know who Yngwie is?" LMAO Junna just blows me away.... this tiny kid just playing insane drums like she's skipping down a goddamn sidewalk. LOL Seriously the energy she exudes can power all of Japan. I love it when she plays the high hat pedal with the heel of her foot while she's playing the bass pedal at the same damn time. Watching her play is better than an espresso for an energy boost.

Gee Anzalone, the DragonForce drummer did a reaction to this video, he approved. IMO the best cover is by Hangar drummer Aquiles Priester either on his own YT channel on his kit with Paiste Colorsound 900s that make it look awesome or on Paiste Cymbals' channel as part of his endorsement deal. He was DragonForce's drummer on their last tour as well.

Junna is actually 20. One of her hobbies is cosplay in which she looks much younger than her real age. She is the former drummer for the J-metal girl group Kakumei (now called Trident), and has guested with other Japanese bands.

She is sponsored by Pearl, and she didn't start drumming until her teens. Also, she might be 5 feet tall and 100lbs, maybe. She has probably made a few drummers pack up the kits and sell them to take up something else. I covet my YT subs, and they don't get handed out, but I have been subbed to Junna.

To be honest we need more who are into science than drummers. She is enjoying her passion with drumming as all musicians should and she is very good for her age. I choose my drug which is music (mostly guitar) but I keep up with science bc every1 should know how things work. Last note...Archspire drummer blew my mind...yea :)

JUNNA helped form a Japanese punk band called "Girls Rock Band Kakumei" in 2016 and apparently their local live shows were quite impressive. The Corona quarantine put them on hiatus during the early part of 2020 until they announced in May that they were changing their name to "TRiDENT" and that JUNNA was leaving the band (she actually decided to leave in March, 2020). Also, JUNNA is not as young as a lot of people think she is. I believe she was 23 when she did this drum-cover video. 🤘😁

Yes junna😍 she's one of two my favorite drummer. My another favorite drummer is Haruna from Lovebites. I still remember when you said haruna the drummer Lovebites is young. But she's age 30 years old. Junna still young, I thing about 24 years old. They so cute and adorable. But when they playing drum, they beast and monster. So powerful. So energetic. So fast. In Japan there is a nuclear power plant that is out of control; she is called Junna. She has great energy. She has to work on playing in control. But is so much fun to watch her. She reminds me a bit of Nandi Buschel (11 years old) who is so much fun to watch when she drums. Your daughter btw is great!!

Woman, Junna started playing drums at 15 and she is about 20 when this was recorded. Information is a little bit difficult to come by because there is another Junna in Japan who is a singer.

Yep. Japan has a lot of very good Girl drummers. Junna, Yoyoka, Senri Kawaguchi and (to me the best) Kanade Sato. They are all unbelieveably good. Junna is WILD, Yoyoka hits harder than Cozy Powell and is always fun to watch, Senri is awesome, but Kanade is both technically and dynamically absolutely perfect. So all are worth a look!

Watching Junna led me to Akane and Band-Maid. You should check Junna out when she was in Girl Rock Band Kakumei, which became Trident. She left the band last March. You can't miss her drumming in these videos. 👍👍🤘🤘🤘

Hey, dad tell her just use her gifts and have as much fun and be as happy doing what she loves as Junna does beating those drums. I swear she was beating them like they owed her a lot of money!!! Great reaction and make sure she understands that this someone who worked very hard like she does to be the best she could. NASA would be happy to have your daughter especially if she was as happy working with her gifts as Junna is!! Don't show her the other dozen or so drummer who are actually younger who are as close to Junna on the drums. Nice time with your daughter BTW, enjoy it as she will be busy at NASA sooner than you think and this moment will be a great memory!!!

Junna's energy, passion and skill/talent is amazing ! But she is older than she looks. :-) Babymetal is kawaii (adorable) metal, I think she embodies it as well. During the BLM protests I listened a lot to Rage Against The Machine, because it felt like history repeating, nothing has changed. Little drummer girl Yoyoka has a good drum cover of Rage Against The Machine, Bulls on Parade.

the only sad part for me when I first saw this was the foot cam isn't from the upper take, don't know why unless they just had limited cameras for the day (4:08) she stands in the upper, her skirt goes up as she rises, foot cam the skirt doesn't move / she never stood.

To be fair, Junna is 19 or 20 in this video, but she obviously didn’t get this good in a couple of months of half-assed practices once a week. So absolutely yes! LIFE GOALS Y’ALL!💪🏻🤘🏻
