Watching in 2024. It's interesting how each of these programs has evolved. This game in 2008 was a huge upset. Now it 2024 the scripts are flipped. Ole Miss is the big dog and Florida is the underdog.
First Florida game I ever went to. I don’t know why we didn’t kick a field goal at the end instead of going for it. Would’ve been roughly 50 yards and we had to have had someone that could kick from out there
Every time Ole Miss beats a money power we get 7 year investigations. LSU took money from a charity hospital and had sex assault claims and nothing happens. Money. We have a few years to come back from the couch probation. Mullen is a really good coach. He will take Florida all the way. If he can win with State College in a cow pasture he can definitely win at Florida. BTW, my hero at 50 years old is the old ball coach. Watching him pound on Peyton “happy feet” Manning for 4 years still puts a smile on my face.
@@jamesfields2916 I had to reset my memory since I posted that 3 years ago. Mullen was always a bit lazy on recruiting. He did great things with less talent at State. But I think he thought he didn’t have to recruit at Florida as it recruits itself. Didn’t work.
@@zippyzipster46 it does not. Bowden recruited nationally at a high level at FSU. Spurrier and Mayer as well. Look at Saban. Recruiting top classes year after year and then developing them. He rarely had a flop recruit.
@@crazyanimegamer5667 were you referring to the 2020 game at Ole Miss? Kiffin s first game. Gators won 49-35 but after I knew Ole Miss was in good hands. Matt Corral had a big game and an outstanding two years as starter.
