it's a travesty and a crime against good music that an artist like oleta adams is as underrated as she is here in the u.s. but overseas is revered. makes me question the sensibilities of americans and before anyone gets their panties in a twist I AM an american, born and bred in chicago. oleta my sweet, as always you hold a special place in my heart with your magnificent voice! you never fail to give me goosebumps! i am a fan now and forever!

I'm grateful to have discovered the music of Oleta Adams, she is without a doubt an incredible vocalist. Music that touches the heart and stirs the soul, she is simply amazing!

I used to sit and listen to her sing at a local club, love her and her music! She is nicest person around!!!

My boyfroend was breaking up with me cause he was tired of my nagging and his mind was made up. I cried my heart out many days and was feeling sorry for myself. Listening to sad love songs lol. Then I sent him this song via Whatsapp. Was checking so often if he had read and listened. I saw him maybe listening to the song, cause the little ticks turned blue. About 4 minutes later, my phone rang, and it was a call from him. He laughed and asked why, I said "I just had to hear your voice again. We have made up and my nagging has stopped. Lemme tell you, if you love someone, and it's worth fighting for, fight for that person. I love my boo. Four years still going. Dunno where this love will take us, but it's worth everything we give to loving each other.

Her Voice is still perfect!! She has taken very careful attention to her instrument. I first heard her in 1993 - the Evolution album - and she is still just as good today as she was then. This lady is going to be around for many many more years, and so will her Golden Voice. God Bless her!

But most of all I was able to thank Oleta myself for her wonderful voice and songs she wrote.. and still is going on inspiring people who hear her voice and play.
