I can’t imagine being an artist performing again for the first time after 18 months. The band/touring is what has helped Oli along the way during his struggles, so hearing the crowds singing every word to a personal and meaningful song like this once again… who wouldn’t get emotional.
@@Rodimus-Prime Oli doesn't fake anything, and he does it every show because each show is magical, with different crowds and different energies. Just because you cry at one show doesn't mean you won't cry at another. smh
It's really fabulous to have a singer like Oliver, who openly expresses his feelings on stage. We are more than numbers, and they are more than musicians. It's been hard times, and we are all humans, after all...
Yea, I’ve seen them perform 4 times, he leaves a piece of himself on stage with every performance. I’ve seen so many bands live, but no one brings the energy like Oli. And I feel their crowd always brings the most energy. I always feel like a BMTH concert is a group therapy session, unlike any other concert I go to. Really wish they were doing a US tour, but Covid is horrible here. I don’t blame them, and I probably wouldn’t go due to Covid.
dude literally broke down on this song, looked like he was in pain negl. was standing about 4 rows back from front and my god that is an atmosphere ill never forget
Me too mate, he wore his heart on his sleeve last night. Looked like we helped him release those emotions a bit. Glasgow will always be the best city for live music in the UK IMO 💖
Oliver wasn’t in pain. It’s just a reminder of the past, and now it means so much more. 💛 It’s okay, it’s now his strength. He was feeling all of it. 🌻
That was the most beautiful and meaningful moment from the whole concert! Seeing Oliver crying shows how powerful this song is and how much fans means to him.
@@Rodimus-Prime makes no sense, how does one cry out of time to a song they produced themselves? as an artist you tend to know your music inside out. no act here bruvva. if I made music half as well as this song and had people chanting it back at me I'd probably cry too.
I am not crying, you are 😭 Oli means so much to his fans and his fans mean a lot to him. These concerts after 18 months of lockdown must feel like a family reunion after Covid. I can’t wait to see the guys in New York. But I am really happy for everyone in UK now ❤️
I got to see them in hull on there first show of there new tour and it was phenomenal honestly you could tell all of them were in their element and happy to be back to doing there thing
@@herpingyoshi They are not 😭 At least not in the nearest future. But I want them to come back because they haven’t been to NY since winter 2019. I just wish they will come back soon because I missed them. I can’t wait to see them again
@@Rawrwheresmybacci well yeah he got taught by a great vocal coach right after his voice healed. As soon as I saw his recent concerts where he plays his old stuff I immediately wanted him to do an ep or something of old remasters it was so good.
@@dravenripley9468 yeah pretty sure he sustained a vocal injury doing that medley in 2018. I went to a show on that tour and they cancelled it like 2 shows later because of his injury.
It probably hit so much harder, knowing that he wrote that about his drug addiction and knowing that he relapsed during lockdown 💖💖💖 sending hugs to whoever needs them rn
I started listening to BMTH not even a year ago, now seeing these Guys being back on stage after 1/and a half years still made me damn emotional, i guess I understand the spirit
You’ve never experienced a concert until you’ve felt his emotions through the speakers… drowning always makes me tear up, i remember he performed this back in 2018, and he cried it hurt
After 18 months of no gigs and lockdowns and stress, being there last night literally felt like all my problems had washed away for those 3 and a half hours of music and community! Outstanding as always! 💕
@@heavymetalpatriot1149 it wasn’t a requirement but was advised by the venue ahead of time to do a Lateral Flow test and I’m already double vaccinated and did a test so I’m sure a lot of us were the same and masks were abundant in the crowd where I was stood
The whole 2013 tumblr band “phase” I’ve gone through and BMTH stayed having my heart. They’re still SO underrated and I’m so happy and proud to see how far they’ve come especially Oli man yo my heart
one of the few bands I still have on my bucket list to see, their music has helped me through dark times since I was old enough to learn the lyrics. we’ll make it though, we got a lifetime left👏🏻
@@henriquemaresco4079 awww, thank you.. Kindness is so important, yet so underutilized nowadays. It really counteracts built-up, toxic negativity and helps heal our aching spirit/soul. 😇Be the reason someone smiles today 😊 ❤️LOVE you Oli, Jordan, Matt, Lee, Vegan, and Jon ❤️ Peace y'all ✌️
@@bloodflame_9214 don't worry about bullies man. There just jealous because we're better than them and have people that actually like us for who we are around our lives. they don't have anything and they want what we have. Don't worry about the one who hurt you man. Don't worry about the evil people in this world cuz evil people get karma too and karma is one bad bitch yo.
My 17th time will be on Sunday. I agree with this statement fully. Seeing them go from playing at a student union to arenas and their progression in production is fantastic.
Omg this made me teary watching 😢 I've grown with them and their music and this song helped me feel less lonely in the world when i first heard it. Feel like each album came out in a period in my life where i was relating to it. Love their old stuff as much as their new. Progress and growth is what life is all about. So excited to see them!
@@joegriffiths6321 so glad u enjoyed its great to see everyone so happy rn with them, I saw them in glasgow Tuesday and it was the best night of my entire life. Kingslayer was so sick to hear live as well as house of wolves and dear diary the moshes were insane for those
Watching this bands journey has been amazing for Ollie to go through what he's been through in life to seeing him crying on stage just for the simple fact that he's back k stage with their fans singing along is amazing
I'm so happy to have been at the concert in glasgow. When he broke down it was the most powerful thing ever. The whole crowd felt connected like family 🖤
18 months of lockdown and a nasty breakup under the belt, this gig was something I was yearning for. I went alone and was drenched in sweat by the end of the gig. When Teardrops dropped it was like 3 months of pain was bled out in the space of 4 minutes; I went absolutely mental in the pit. The boys did not disappoint. The crowd was on fire and Oli was one hell of a frontman. You could tell they hadn’t played in 2 years because they gave their all every second of the performance. It was almost like a massive celebration for gigs to be back on and BMTH to see their fans again. I broke down myself when I saw Oli crying, the crowd carrying him along by screaming the lyrics back at him. It was absolutely biblical. They have come so far since CYB. Next time they’re in town, you know I’ll be there.
2:59 I would've loved to have been there to experience this literally everyone singing the lyrics to this song I probably would've been tearing up I hope covid dies soon
When I saw this live last night I thought it was put on but then I saw his live show in hull on monday on youtube and he didn’t break down. I think people forget the thrill a band gets when they perform live as well as the audience.
I went to the Birmingham show and he had a little breakdown, thought it was genuine whilst I was there but I watched some other lives like this one and London and it seems he does the exact same thing every time, like it’s part of the act
This is fucking beautiful! I hope they use the exact same stage setup during knotfest LA - SO excited to see them live! Been wanting to for so many years now
Well now I’m crying too 😭 their songs and them as a band mean so much to me. I hope to see them again soon, I saw them in 2013 for the first time and I desperately want to see them again.
i was here to, what a moment!. Amazing band, Inspirational man. Think everyone in the room felt his emotions. Its been so difficult for all of us the past 2 years and finally live music is back!
I love BMTH, these dudes are the next Linkin Park and I’m so happy to see them grow and evolve their sound while still keeping in touch with their roots. Such meaningful music and such a great community and set of artists behind it
@@drenchedinsyrupp6059 they are to me now what likning park was for me 10 years ago. My go to music for everything. Sad, happy, doing dishes, driving, vibing and pure dopamine
holy eff I get goosebumps every time I watch live vidz of BMTH. And it's more because of the fans. BMTH have the best fans, period. That is true passion right there.
Poor Oli, I love the band so much. They’ve helped me during all these years 🖤 Ive seen then grow and everytime I listen to them it makes me feel happy, much love! See you guys again in November at Knotfest ❣️
I'm just now really getting into them. I've listened to a lot of their songs before but every now and again I connect with a band when I really need it and right now I feel like I really need bmth in my life, if that makes sense
Even to this day after all thats happened still brings me to tears, which isn't often, to know that we're all still human no matter what happens to this world. ♥
I woulda been a mess during this song alone let alone seeing/hearing him tear up woulda been too much on my heart lol. I miss them so much. Haven’t seen them live since 2011 😪💔
Congratz to the band and singer, for delaying the song for him and to the crowd, who sang for him to gain the will and courage to stop the tears, and finish what he started! Love these concerts and my first ticket got cancelled because covid, glad to see it back.
I saw them the night before in Hull and oli was amazing and had a huge emotional moment and it was amazing to see and experience him sharing what we all felt xx
