Yea its pricey!! but very high quality!! when they first appoached me i said no!! then i took a look at them on there website and became interested!! i asked them if i could do a honest review with no strings attaced they said yes please do!! i said geat!!! thanks my friend!!
Nice! I do have a big gripe without replacement battery packs. All but makes them "throw away" items(please recycle properly everyone). But if they last a good few years of use. The cold garage in the winter takes a toll on lithium packs.
I have EDCed a flashlight for decades. It started when I was doing electrical work and needed it various times at work. I still carry a light every day and use one every day. The magnet is more handy than you could imagine!!!!
I have around a dozen Olights, and this is one I've wanted. IMO Olight is awesome. Best daily carry lights around, hands down. Been using them since 2017
I have the non pro version of the arkfeld. I love it. I have used it for a out 9 months daily in the construction field. Very rugged for sure as I have been doing some accidental "test drops". Fits in the pocket very well also.
Hi james i have turned down a few other Co.that only wanted good things said about there products!!! i have had other offers that just werent a good fit for the channel!!! i wont accept anything that i cant be honest about!!! thanks my friend for checking in!!
Great review Jeff , OLIGHT That's a lot of light for its size , It has functions for countless applications ! , maybe SANTA CLAUS will leave some under the tree , thanks as always TANK
I have an older version without the laser pointer. It’s my edc and gets used often. I willl say my biggest gripe is how poor the pocket clip is. Love the double clip for a hat bill, but they just bend so easy. Great price and it’s held up to a lot of drops and a handful of accidental cleanings in the washing machine.
I've got a little keychain light from Olight that i like and I've been eyeballing the Arkfeld for awhile but haven't pulled the trigger. I like the racing stripes on the Pro model
My only issue with Olight is that sometimes they are to bright. I know it sounds funny to be to bright but when using in a garage a light can be to bright.
I have the regular Arkfeld and use it daily. The UV light is okay if you don't have another one. I do wish I had the laser pointer in it so I could play with the shop cats but ill just upgrade when mine dies.
Olight is the quality that streamlight should be. I've bought a few of the Olight models. The arkfield(not the pro) 2 baton3's, seeker4, mini maruader, marauder, obulb pro(which is a neat little orb for ambiet lighting), the swivel pro(a nice COB work light). They have many good products. I would rank them over streamlight if someone was shopping for a pro use type light.
Ask for a baton3 pro. It's at a lower price point than that one, and it's a fantastic edc light. I know how much you love knurling, so it'd probably be right up your alley.
Hi happy i appreciate you sharing your experence with the brand!! there pricey but they seem to be a very high quality!! my wife loves them for taking the dog out at night!!! take care my friend!!!
Great review as always, thanks Jeff. I have an Arkfield and I’m not really a fan. I don’t like the sealed design (can’t swap batteries) and the proprietary charging is another negative for me. Olight is a quality product and they offer many lights that fit many people’s needs, just not mine.
I'd like to see reviews of some cheaper ones that are still pretty nice, i know they exist. $100 is just too far out of my price range for a light. It might be worth it if i knew it would last me, potentially, the rest of my life and had a lifetime warranty.
