The Seeker 2 pro features a large side switch located near the head of the light and indicators on both sides of the switch clearly display the battery power and brightness level.
The Seeker 2 pro includes a 3.9 ft long 1A magnetic USB cable (The MCC1AL is compatible with OLIGHT S, M, and H series).The provided L-dock can be attached to or fixed on a wall close to a power source for quick and easy access. My first light of this type got it for $80 off and a keychain rechargeable and and key chain AAA For my use which I may or may not like is walking my dog early mornings before the sun comes up. Really do like battery indicator and mode. Thanks for a honest review

It is a nice light, I just dislike custom batteries with a passion, but at the deal price you got - I think you can overlook some things. Yes the LED indicators are good

Hi great review again I have many olight flashlights which are always first class but I will not buy another that has a custom battery again as they have proved with the warrior they don't have to do this, they as a company must lose many sales world wide over this.
@MrBazReviews
@MrBazReviews 5 лет назад
Agree in that custom cells are not needed. But it seems they are intent on doing their own thing, I mentioned it as a con many times before. With the Warrior they seemed to take note, not sure what changed but it's not welcomed so I am with you on that. It is a nice light in other areaas

hello MR. Baz, i have been following your channel and reviews for some time now, and i must admit you are doing outstanding job. you are one of the best reviewers i am following. i have a question and i will be very thankful if you could answer it. like you, i really hate proprietary batteries, they limit your batteries options, so i noticed that you add to a different brand battery magnetic spacers, i didn't know i could do that.my question is: is there a specific material of magnetic spacer required in order for it to function in the light? will it be safe? what is the spacers size (diameter) you usually use for batteries? does using other brand battery affect the light performance (modes and max output)? if you drop the light is it possible the magnets disconnect? on a second thought its more than just one question :) thanks again

Don't overthink it, I bough the spacers on eBay and they work perfectly they don't move easily as they stick to the top of the battery. That's it they just work I've never had one come off by accident or stop working if the light is dropped!

Is the tail cap magnetic and if so, can it easily hold the light to a say, fridge or under a car bonnet? Also, I don't suppose you have a link to the usb tester? That would be a handy bit of kit. Cheers.
@MrBazReviews
@MrBazReviews 5 лет назад
Cap is only slightly magnetic, not nearly enough to hold the light due to weight. The L dock obviously has a magnet in it so does the charger that's enough to hold it, only vertical though. Tester is Keweisi they are on Amazon and eBay etc. amzn.to/2KpcPCV

It's odd as the Warrior doesn't have a custom cell so I wonder why they have not done any more since then? At the moment I don't even think you can buy spares

The lights ok as a emergency light for home use but with no clip or lanyard it stays at my house and the S2R 2 is still reigning king of pocket time for me.

Yes would have liked that clip option odd about the wrist strap too

Um... pay attention boy! It comes with the best light holster in the business. It's way too good of a light just to leave it at home. LMAO

Please make a video with Olight Seeker 2 Pro vs SR MINI Intimidator II.And I still have a question, how many times you can give a turbo to the cry in part, for example at h2r nova about 9 times(not all the time 1 minute) and that was turbo.I want to buy one of the two and I don't know which one.
@MrBazReviews
@MrBazReviews 5 лет назад
I don't have the Intimidator II anymore, but I am getting evidently a desert Seeker 2 pr to compare with the new non pro one. Turbo lasts a while but on lower battery levels it won't hold or hit it The Intimidator II is pretty good overall

How does this light compare to the M2R Warrior Pro?
@MrBazReviews
@MrBazReviews 4 года назад
M2R Pro is more a tactical light, bit more range not as high output. This is more spread out beam I think I prefer this overall v the Warrior Pro

Custom batteries are a stupid idea, a usb-c charging port would have been so much better, and I still think the runtime on turbo only beening 2 minutes is not good enough, I still think my thrnite tc20 is a much better Flashlight..
@Orochi_001
@Orochi_001 5 лет назад
Paul Shakeshaft the TC20 steps down gradually from Turbo to 1700 lm in just three minutes. You can thank the lumen wars for these ridiculous peak outputs that last only a few minutes. The numbers are more of a bullet-point than anything truly useful. None of these single-cell handheld lights can maintain that kind of output for any real length of time. Most 1000+ lm torches level off around 600 lm. Don’t count on anyone outside of Olight and maybe a couple other companies to actually be honest about that though. Better engineered lights, like Elzetta and Malkoff, push a more realistic output longer and more consistently. Companies like these use good engineering practice rather than pushing specs to their theoretical limits.

@@Orochi_001 Well that's the problem with increased power levels at the top end. Unless there is enough surface area to cool ie larger body it drops down fairly quickly. Lumens are like Megapixels on cameras, they add more and sometimes the difference isn't that obvious. Once you are at 2000-2500lm the 3200 isn't that much brighter real world. I like the design and finishing of the light, but as I said I'm not a fan of custom cells Olight need to move away from that. Hopefully with more people commenting on custom cells, they might get the message. Thanks for the feedback I'd like to look at more Thrunite lights, problem is they can't get samples in a timely manner to me. It's usually months after release and the last one they said they would send never showed up.

@@MrBazReviews the point I'm trying to make even the ThruNite tc20 at 1800 lumens runs for ages and I have not seen it step down, what they do need to do is upgraded to USB c...
@ertonyrn
@ertonyrn 4 года назад
Paul Shakeshaft they all step down... has to due to physics... might just happen so gradually yours eyes dont pick it up. NO 18650/21700 light is putting out >1000lm for longer than a few minutes.

The battery is not custom. Its used by Tesla and a few different electronics on the market
@MrBazReviews
@MrBazReviews 4 года назад
Tesla has nothing to do with batteries for lights, 0. It is not a standard battery which has +/- terminals top and bottom, this has both at the top, hence you can't charge other cells in the light. It is also mentioned that you can use other cells with a spacer. The idea of a review is to mention points I think people want to know, not sales/marketing for Olight or any other company. If you want buyer reassurance/fanboy type videos - there are plenty out there for you. People who don't mention any of these points and just advertise for the company. This isn't a snowflake review channel or shilled out marketing place for companies.
