Watched a couple of reviews on this torch, your working demo of the torch is by far the best, took advantage of the sale and it will be here Tuesday, thanks for helping me decide to pull the trigger on the O light
I'm almost tempted to go for the kit with the filters just so I can put some CCT gel over it. Not a fan of how there isn't a real low mode or medium in the standard setting, they could have even had a third mode group for more varied use.
Well it is designed as a hunting torch and for distance. It’s like the low mode on the javelot turbo or Pro 2. I never use them as they are just a little spot that isn’t very practical.
The trouble is that I got a javelot a couple of years ago. After huge amounts of use out hunting it is still going as good as the Dayi got it. As nice as the new ones are I can’t betray the excellent one that I already have.
Haha I’m getting that way now I have so many Olight torches that I feel bad leaving one behind that I paid good money for and using another one that does the job just that bit better. I guess I should do some more giveaways. 😉
I’ve never used one of their tactical rings but they should be compatible as the silicone ring is the same as on other torches so I can’t see why it wouldn’t fit this one too.
@@intothenight1993 in my line of work, we regularly use tactical rings...I've also used my current tactical ring on my co-worker's Warrior x 4 and it's a little loose. I emailed Olight a couple weeks ago and I still haven't gotten a response from them.
