When I first had an olipop I was expecting to be disappointed but I was surprised how good the root beer actually tasted, but was kind of disappointed that the grape and orange ones tasted like carbonated watered down juice, but the root beer pairs really well with a halo top to make a healthier root beer float
I’ve always been curious about these, mainly the strawberry vanilla. I was worried they would be vinegary for some reason (I’m thinking they were like kombucha lol). I may pick it up now. I had seen a lot of reviews, but I didn’t trust those people 😂
Interesting. Not at that price, let's face it, I am extremely frugal. Glad I didn't purchase any. Sounds like I would be disappointed. I do not drink carbonated beverages that often and that's what I go for, the bite of the carbonation - ginger ale is at the top of my list. Old Blenheim is my favorite.
I think the reason these are “good” is because in comparison to the sparking flavored harsh and bitter flavored waters everyone used to say were delicious (lies!), these are least drinkable. Not worth the price but way better than the drinks of the past.
The cream soda one is good and try the Dr. Goodwin and cherry vanilla is amazing. Haven’t tried the cherry cola. It’s hard to find or the banana flavored one.
Thank you for reviewing these! I’ve always wondered what they tasted like. Some of those low calorie drinks taste nasty, so it’s nice that these at least taste decent. i’ll have to give them a try, especially the grape!
So..5 months later I finally tried these! I had to come back and watch this again because I couldn’t remember which flavors you liked best. I didn’t expect to like them..but to my surprise I really like them a lot! I wasn’t necessarily going for the health benefits but I have to say I noticed a good feeling in my tummy while drinking them. I think it’s all the root extracts they use. They now have a new flavor cream soda. Target carries it. Other flavors I tried are Cherry Cola and Cherry Vanilla.
They seem delicious, but they price me out. I could never justify spending that much on a 12 oz can, especially these days. However I did appreciate your flavor descriptions. If money wasn't a problem, I think I would try the communion grape, lol

I would never pay that for a can of soda. The facial expressions were not promising either. The funny thing is I am not too picky about flavored soda for the most part, but as far as cola it needs to be Coke or RC. Pepsi is too sweet for me except for getting it out of a drink machine where you fill the cup up with ice. That seems to knock it back a bit.
My family and I try to avoid drinks high in sugar and instead we buy sugar-free or low sugar drinks, but I don't feel comfortable giving artificially sweetened drinks to my little ones. If they weren't so expensive, Olipop would have been perfect as an occasional low sugar treat. I'm curious if these have been out for awhile and if they were priced lower before.
I've seen these at Walmart! If toy ever pass by the produce section where the refrigerated to-go snack packs/cut up fruits are you'll see them :) I gotta ask though do these have a harsh and bitter taste like those bubly sodas?
Not sure why but the name seems familiar. Some flavours seem good but not something I’d buy for regular consumption at that price. Thanks for the review.
I haven't been able to find the Olipop ones yet but found another brand called Poppi and they have a Classic Cola and I didn't like that at all. Just as expensive as Olipop and has a variety of flavors as well.
I'm all for gut health and what not but I'll stick with various teas and have a regular pop as a treat. Good to know it's definitely not worth the price... Is this were to ever show up in Canada.
@@TamiDunn For me it's more prevention of having anything bad happening like becoming diabetic, and what not. I refuse to be dependent on medication to control whatever ailments that I might get in my senior years if I don't start being careful now.
I find it funny that people are so cheep when that buy food for their family’s they really buy mostly cheep food it doesn’t matter to them what they are feeding them only that is cheep but they will buy a alcoholic beverage when eating out or make themselves one at home and those are way more expensive to drink 🍹 most mix drinks when buying at a restaurant are twice that much over those can drinks
Oh I think this ALL the time when people spend a fortune at Starbucks & then complain about grocery prices. I’m glad I never enjoyed drinking alcohol because you are right- it’s expensive.
Usually drinks like these don’t have enough of the beneficial supplements to justify the cost or compromise of flavor… I’d rather get an actual standardized suppliment and take it with a soda I enjoy… lol
