Oh, I did! Even though Fagin is very different from his book counterpart, I still believe that he is a villain due to his actions leading the other characters in trouble@@theaveragecritic3308
Once upon a time was written by Howard Ashman. Howard Ashman had just had a huge Off Broadway failure with his show Smile riding off the success of little shop of horrors. Howard Ashman’s lyrical genius in the song represent how he was feeling at the time with how like you said “New York city will take you in, and spit you out the next day.” That was Howard Ashman’s New York stage experience.
@@theaveragecritic3308Agreed! I would rate it 10/10, because I don’t think there’s anything majorly wrong with this film in terms of story and characters (the story and characters is what I care about most) that affects this movie significantly (for me anyway). And I definitely did enjoy this video! I’ve just finished watching it!
This movie is special for one simple reason: it is one of only six Disney movies I did NOT own on VHS (that period ending for us on 2001, fyi)... I did not get to watch this movie all the time, and it is a special treat for me every time. I love this movie A LOT and HATE that it got such a bad run
@@haydendegrow945 awww that’s kind of sad. I had it on vhs so much have been lucky. Yeah those special movies you watch are always good. hope you enjoyed the video!
I remember seeing this movie in theaters as a kid (I’m officially old, haha!) and Loving it! I think I even had the McDonalds kid toys of Fe Fe and Oliver… Wow! This has been a memory unlocked, lol! Thank you! ❤
