Nowadays, 90% of musical lyrics are just a catch with no emotion or soul behind it, so ya when I hear God in songs I tend to think they are just using the lords name to make a dollar. Or you have bands like Thrice who hid bible verses in their songs, who the lead signer is an actual decon at a church I attended in Southern California.

There is a Bible app, if you are interested, called YouVersion that is a good tool to help study the Bible. Also, the youtube channel called The Bible Project has many, many videos that explain sections of the Bible. I find that both of these are helpful to me.

I've been trying to practice speaking the truth no matter the situation. I used to question myself too much...Now I know that I'm safe , and the person I care for is safe if only I speak the Truth.

It means caring about them, personally, anyway, but not going along with their evil. It's honestly very hard if practiced correctly.

But you know else he said, on those two commandments hang ALL the Laws and the Prophets. Meaning that the Law of God will still be established. In the book of Revelation near the end it talks about even after people are judged and raised from the dead there would be animal sacrificing. Also Sabbath is mentioned 55 times in the New Testament.

I know that the law is good, but it is also our death. Our life is in being washed in the blood of the lamb. And thats all there is to worry about. When our thorns have been finally plucked, there wont be anything to worry about, nothing to fear because we will no longer know fear we will only know God's perfect love.
