One of the best edits I’ve seen. I loved Barba so so much with Liv. Not that I’m not excited to see Bensler finally happen… but Barba was so deserving of happiness with her

Barbas time in svu is shorter than say Cassidy, who actually knew el and Liv from the beginning, if you remember how they were from 1999 to 2011 and the reuniting in 2021; they realise are solid and soulmates el and Liv are
Beautifully done. I’m watching from the beginning - just started season 5. I keep thinking “these two have got to get together!” And I see there is lots of good stuff to come! ❤
I love Bensler. I didn't watch this show for years just because they weren't together then Stabler left and I swore I wouldn't watch but then I ran out of shows and binge and man it was a beautiful roller coaster fell in love with Barba. Then the most unbelievable thing happened...... Eliott came back I was over the moon her dialog in that return ep was a master piece. I love her shrink peeling away her onion rings it was shaping up to be really exciting and then they just stopped...... sad i'd like to say if they don't do sumn with Liv's love life amma stop watching but i'd be lying so I remain hopeful

Kidding lol sorta but in the same token that some don’t see a romantic relationship with El & Liv (clearly y’all weren’t watching the same show cause the signs were all there)- I don’t see it w Rafael and her. I see them as friends and that he’s a good friend. Now back to ur edit, loved it! You did amazing! And that bit of it being amazing was directed towards you, the former was just my general opinion to no one in particular 😂

Now I have some big dumb grin on my face and I realize I'm gonna have to unpack THAT statement. 😂🤣😂 Seriously though, I love Barba and I want everything good for him, but it's been over a decade since Elliot left and I think a lot of us gave up hope that he would ever come back. But there's still a huge percentage of people who just never got over it--who NEVER WOULD get over it. And as long as Mariska Hargitay is in this series, there's only one actor out there who we picture her with. I just can't believe 2 decades later it's actually going to happen.
@@Jenonymouse I’m glad you brung it up bc I’ve been dying to talk abt it for fckn hot minute. First all, yes, to all THAT! Nothing against Barba, the actor / character, but it just wasn’t gonna ever gonna be him. I get it, that Elliot left and people are so quick to point that out, and fact is, he did leave, but he’s back and wanting to make it work. She’s not ready, yet, to go THERE and that’s understandable. She has not shut the door on him though and we know this bc she still calls when she needs him and she even said she wanted to be ready, but she can’t right now, but that says to me she’s willing to work on it too. This whole he left reminds me of Arizona and Callie when she cheated and yes it was terrible and out of character for her, but her character went through trauma and it was brought up time and time again that she cheated and Az was like Callie enough I’m not your whipping boy which same can be said reversed about the leg, but that’s another story, I’m no storyteller, but it’s giving the same vibe. As a collective we are gonna have to move on from that bc Olivia wants him still in her life and while he was gone we got to see Olivia grow and come to terms with what was going on in her life as the show kept going. We didn’t get that from Elliot. We saw her progression play out on the show , her trying to heal and come out of it and little bits we got in reference to how she felt in his absence, but we didn’t get that w Elliot. There is a lot to still be uncovered and in time I’m sure we will get answers especially if Olivia is to forgive to find that healing that only he can give her. Outside of the show the actors have said there is something there and to keep hope they know their characters better than everyone else so it’s really just a matter of when it happens not if. @@SovereigntyOfHarts Preach! 🙌 You hit it on the head -- she never shut the door on Elliot. Yes, time moved on (and dragged her with it, oftentimes kicking and screaming 😂). Yes, she has grown and changed and improved in so many ways. But when it comes to Elliot, I feel like it's an oversimplification to say she "moved on." That implies acceptance and peace, imo. I think she hit a point where she acknowledged that he was gone. I think after the fallout of William Lewis, she felt it deep in her bones that he was gone and that he WASN'T COMING BACK. And I think at some point she even kind of "accepted it" -- but not in the sense of "willing approval," just an acknowledgement of reality based on the facts. But whenever she looked down the symbolic hallway of all the opened and closed doors that made up her life, I think Elliot's door was always right there, surprisingly close and opened, the way they both left it. Their relationship is EXCEPTIONAL, not normal. Which is where a lot of people get tripped up I think. It really doesn't matter how much time has passed, they are in each other's blood. You can't undo it or remove it or reason it away or grow past it. It just exists.

Oh my gosh so beautiful what a amazing edit and tribute to Olivia and the two men that love her and she probably loves the most.. I always wonder if she’ll end up choosing, who the writers will.
Olivia is happiest when shes with Noah and Elliott Stabler. Clearly the guy was trying to tell olivia in very few words to be with Elliot. Am I the only who sees that? Because it seems to me she is truly happy when she has Noah and Stabler. She didn't seem very happy with Barba and the other guy

In the beginning I was a benson & stabler fan But now & forever more I’ll always be a benson & Barba fan ( but I’ll forever love stabler too I just think out of all the men in Olivia’s life barba understood her the best and always had her back )
Stabler lost his wife his kids left and he feels he let her down but he is trying to win her back I love Barba but Barba went against everything she as sked him not to do and I honestly believe it's because it was stabler and she realized that
