Olivia Benson / Rafael Barba || Another Love 

I was a Bensler fan but after watching the series again, I can see toxicity all over Stabler and Benson's relationship. Benson needs someone who hasn't strung her along for most of her life. Barba is the perfect fit!

@@aleishabranch1774 I totally agree. Stabler, I hate to say is a bit unstable. Barba and Benson should be shipped together. Stabler is the one who threw Benson into his personal mess, and then expected her to go running to him as well as demanded to know every personal thing in her life. Rude! 😄😭

They've been squabbling together for ten years then Stabler came back. He would have ruined their relationship because Stabler's always been jealous about her friends. Always wanting his wife and his partner by his side. Barba is a true friend to Olivia. He helped her grow and become stronger. But now,,, Stabler is back and she thinks that she's starting another life. Something for sure, Barba walking out of her life, it means that she is alone, nobody will have her back and maybe that's worse, nobody to share her/their memories. Ten (10) years she can't speak out/of because she pushed the person away to give room for the one who left... Stabler ruined her life when he left and he ruined her life when he comes back. He wants her avalaible 8 days a week... She had no true private life when he was her partner.

@@claudinefaure9090 Truth that. I was Team Bensler all the way before when I was a teen, but looking back I could see Stabler always holding her back. He should have stuck with Dani Beck, at least two arrogant know-it-alls could be together. I could see Barba and Benson together in the long run. Barba was there for her even during the Sheila disaster. He stayed with her and comforted her. Lewis really brought them together, if Stabler had come back, he would have sucked her back into a blackhole of despair. Elliot was always spying on her and demanding information on who she was dating. Bro, you can't have it two-ways, you can't have a partner and a wife, then expect everything is goanna be okay. Elliot tried to have his cake and eat it too, by having Liv who was loyal to him as his side chick and then his wife. Rafael was totally devoted. Somebody really needs to kick Liv in the rearend and force her to see the truth that Elliot is just like Burton Lowe, a self-absorbed, stalkerish tyrant who only cares about himself.🤢🤮

He wanted to perform on stage...and he went away. First Big loss. Second Big loss : Amanda/Kelli Everything glowing is fired away. But 'they have' Benson and Stabler. Who are not partners anymore. But they are still friend. Sort of.. Benson can't regress to the junior she used to be. I mean not 100% because she is regressing when he comes into the squadroom/she wants to work with him. And "they" are making the squadroom empty.

I was watching Cold case and I missed the first episode of svu -OC. It's not as good as it was... Stabler is old , obviously old.

@@KatieEdits25 unfortunately I'm afraid that she is going to do the wrong choice. It's Stabler from minute one and she is blindsided. So whatever happens, it always be Stabler. I don't know how "they" want to end the show but EO being together means there is nothing else. And any body who dares to be critical on her choice will be "fired". So the writers turned Barba into a greedy dirty lawyer. Of course Olivia will never come to see him again. For some reasons they fired Amanda,,,so now there are only newbies in the squadroom. (Ok Fin 's still there). But Benson will be happy with her Stabler, she's been waiting for sooooo looooong. More romance than investigations.

Writers have turned Barba into a unplaisant character for a while. For sure, he is not. Now they (Benson and Barba) have to mend their friendship or what's left after Stabler came back. Barba spoke his feelings out so now she knows what.. When they were talking together in his office, they didn't need to put words on what they were doing. + Benson always in deny. Ok she loves Stabler but she also loves Barba, obviously she doesn't want to lose him. She knows that Barba is able to walk away and stay away in spite of his feelings. She knows that he really cares for her. Barba is now a better character than Stabler but Olivia/mariska wants to end the show with him as a partner or more... He just doesn't have to waste his time waiting for some one who will never come.

Because that's what Unstabler does, ruins everything he touches. Elliot isn't the one that's kept these two separate, it's Liv. They've never been JUST friends, Liv's in love with Barba too but she's too afraid to come out and say it first because that always backfires on her. Her saying "I miss you too" was her way of saying she loved him too without actually saying it.

The guy's supposed to have married the love of his life when he had to marry the girlfriend who was pregnant. She used to admire his muscles and his energy, because both of them were younger. But now, years later, did she learn anything from life? That sexual tension is not enough to be a long lasting couple. That you have to desire/need to talk with the one you care for, (love). And she wants someone stabler than UnStabler. (Not only unstable but not honest to her. Never spoke about Angela. Came to her apartment at night ... Why?)

And because Olivia Benson loves Elliot Stabler she has for a long time now that's why she can't move on to other men. That's what's stopping her from loving another man it's Elliot Stabler was stopping her from being with another man and to marry.

@@bhd7721 I agree. From the start I realized that Olivia had a thing for Stabler, but that doesn't mean he isn't toxic and that Olivia was only able to progress in her career and life after he was gone. Now it looks like she's been in regression again since his return.

100% with you. Unfortunately, Rollins is going to be written off. So how Rollisi possible ? She wants Stabler in her life and now he is back in her life. How possible that she is interested in what's happening in Rollins' life? So Captain Benson was angry that she was offered to retired but some months later, she has to retired. Season 23 was character assassination. What's next ?

@@claudinefaure9090 I think Stabler needs to go into retirement and stop working for the NYPD. I get he did his job, but he is turning into one of those angry white cops who has a grudge against anyone who has feelings for his "Livvie", get over it man! That ship sailed a long time ago when Elliot ditched her, cause of the Jenna shooting. Yeah, I get it. I feel bad for the situation, but Liv grew up without Elliot. She made friends with Amanda (although it was a long time coming), she grew with her new partner Amaro (another hotshot young Elliot, although he was better) and she made a lifelong friend in Rafael, until the King Kong Ape of an ex-partner Elliot came back. Elliot ruined her life before when he left and he dragged her into another live mess with his vendetta against Richard Wheatly, almost killing her and causing her child to be motherless! what did he expect? that she would come running back to him and be his side-chick again or worse his wife! Kathy always accused him of choosing Liv over her and needless to say Liv was the better woman than I would have been, because I would have accused him of causing tension within the workplace. And for harassing me outside of work! 😠🤢

@@hananelmarlowe4646 you are so right ! Amanda was a more needed friend in her life than Stabler. Olivia needed some room to spread her wings. Her character is very protective as well but she can see the bounderies. (And maybe that's the reason why Carisi is grateful to her : he told her he was studying the Law and she let him be a lawyer. And when she was judgemental about Rollins and her issues, she kept on protecting her people. (Sad that Rollins is written off, they want new faces but we/I enjoy the "old" characters : it's only my pov of course).

@@claudinefaure9090 NBC will never listen to its viewers, even the actors on SVU wanted Kelli Giddish to stay! Anyway, I liked Benson and Rollins, especially after Benson got her act to get and stop blaming crap on Rollins. I mean I could definitely see them as good friends...another example of why Stabler's absence was good. Even Benson thought so when she told Amaro he helped her grow before he left. Amaro, God bless him, though he had flaws at least he knew it. Stabler on the other hand just ditched Benson and then came back and gaslight Benson! Questioning everyone including Fin! I think Fin needs to light a fire under Benson and help her get her act together again. Fin, Rollins, Amaro and Barba all helped Olivia to grow and now toxic Stabler is back, and she is acting weak and submissive to him! 😤😡

Her team is only there to provide some help...and now, Kelli is leaving the show. She's the Captain who can't speak with anybody when Fin is not there. I' m with you about EO. They' ve been partners since day one, and she does not count the many years he was not on the show. Unfortunately she's one of the producers and she has a bigger say. And about their chemistry, Olivia has chemistry with many characters. But, may I, one question, does she confuse chemistry and gratitude ? Stabler provided her a family to take good care of her after her mother passed away ? Knowing that his partner wanted to find her biological 'father' and she was alone after her mother passed ??? Gratitude is not love . But does she fear that people misjudge her if she dates someone else, so she stay with the one who provided her some help when she was alone ? And the rain was falling on her .
