well, their products are actually really good if u happened to tried them yourself.......tho i know the price point is not for everyone....but also because a lot of celebs go to her for facials, so naturally they would be using her products too.......which why u would see so often here.......i actually have most of her products myself too............
@@leisurelyurs judging by the ingredient list her products are an overpriced scam .all her products except for a couple of serums smell like glycerin, - i found this appalling, because glycerin has very little smell naturally and the only way you could make a product smell like it was if you used A LOT of it. Surely enough when you look at the ingredient lists, glycerin is very high on the list in nearly all her products. I don't want to pay so much for products that are mostly water and glycerin, nothing again the ingredients themselves it's just that products that have so much glycerin in them that you can literary smell it should be cheap.
@@leisurelyurs never tried the ordinary so can't compare... i just think that a lot of the times with expensive products people who use them can not objectively asses their quality because when people pay so much for something they have to convince themselves that it's good for them. that's a lot easier psychologically, than admiring to oneself that the product is not worth the money.
@@leiarelan731 Yes im sure she wants to pretty, but a ponytail would have looked much prettier than those ridiculous hair clips with her constantly struggling not to get her hair wet.
@@leiarelan731, she doesn't look pretty this way. She looks ridiculous. It makes sense to have her hair up. Such a hairdo doesn't make a woman ugly. But yeah, maybe she has such an insecurity.
@@BleedingBlueBoy no filler can make such bone structure. Even if she used filler, she would still have to have had very chiselled cheeks and jawline for such an effect. People should not talk about things they don't know shit about. If you have defined features you just have them. Even with fillers you can't fake it as such amount would stretch the skin tremendiously. Also, the shadows on her face would not be as prominent as filler ads volume so her cheekbones would be bigger but the shadows would not fit. It can't get rid of your flesh, so here's that lol
She won Miss U in 2012. Before that, she was just an ”ordinary” girl - no high fashion modeling or high end makeup and skincare sponsorships. But even then she was already looking like this. I don't understand why some people can’t accept the fact that there are naturally beautiful people out there. She’s right up there with Jared Leto, Angelina Jolie and Natalie Portman with her bone structure. It’s natural. It’s genetics. NOT fillers.
Dr. Barbara Sturm products are either amazing or they have bought all these celebrities because every famous person comes on here and talks about them. Phenomenal marketing skills!
I think both, they,re crazy expensive, and celebrities are her target, it is a bit like a snowball effect, although I must admit I appreciate her philosophy which is something different than retinoids and exfoliants.....
It makes me so sad to see all these celebrities who have so much money use skincare wrong, even worse when they talk about skincare like they know what they are doing when they don’t. She says her skin is dehydrated but then uses an oil! Dehydrated skin needs water, not oil. A hydrating serum would be so much better. Oil doesn’t hydrate, it aids dry skin. Also the hydrating mist at the end to ‘seal’ it all in, a bit pointless as it should be used before oils as the molecules are so much smaller and it will absorb better.
meriam di I agree! But it’s probably just super good genes and she would probably have decent skin no matter her skincare. The issue is people will watch this and try to copy her routine thinking it’s the right way to do things, when it’s not really!
undacovabby if you have Instagram go find Emma hoareau and watch her stories named serums at the top! She explains for dehydrated skin you need a good water based serum under a moisturiser. However Olivia said she had dehydrated skin in the video which you shouldn’t use oils for, if you have dry flaky skin oils can be good. You need to figure out which you have but I’ve learnt so much for Emma hoareau and also beautywithin, the ladies have a RU-vid channel and an Instagram. I’ve been heavily educated by them both! My skin was dehydrated and I now swear by the caudalie sos serum and fresh rose toner!
She’s being way too rough with her skin! First the makeup wipes then rubbing with the peel pads. If you must use wipes (don’t recommend it) pat and press. Oils aren’t hydrating btw, they’re emollient. A mist should go before any oils or balms, it’s actually the part that needs to be sealed in.
susan yara from "mixed makeup" would scream ! she says this so many times in her videos. You shouldn´t use wipes on a daily basis. the ingredients are very harsh
Nina Hradilekova depends on the eye cream. Products should always be layered thinnest to thicker and water based, then thinner plant oils, then lotion, cream, etc. All water based products go before the eye cream. If the moisturizer is thinner then that would go first and she may have not even applied moisturizer under the eyes I can’t remember. Applying eye cream before water based products and light oils would interfere with their absorption. There’s also really not much difference ingredients wise between a moisturizer and an eye cream anyway and I think most of them aren’t worth the money. As long as you’re not interfering with absorption and heaviest products go last then all those products will benefit your skin. Agreed tho, right on top of the lids near the lash line isn’t a good idea.
@@skinsciencebymira Hi! Would you mind telling me why moisturizer shouldnt be applied on the eyelids? Because ive been doing it wrong this entire time! 😭
Veronica Ivanova could you explain why there bad? I use makeup wipes and I’m confused by all the comments about how she shouldn’t be using makeup wipes
I'm having a hard time believing all these celebrities use makeup wipes daily to remove their makeup. They do a shit job at actually removing the makeup properly and they're really bad for the environment, use an oil-based cleanser instead!
I don't use an oil based cleanser. I use miscellae water and a cleanser and it does the job. When I have tried oil based ones my faces gets just really oily and it feels wrong. I agree about the wipes though.
Veronica Ivanova nothing wrong with the wipes Karlie Kloss uses them and her skin looks amazing! I don’t understand what’s the fuss about makeup wipes they work for me!
Why most of women do this with the hair on their faces?i mean in this video, clearly her face sides ,where the hair is on the skin is still have make up on....it doesn t hurt and doesn t make up ugly if you put your hair up and let all the face uncovered.
I don't think most women do it. She's the first one I see doing it and I think she looks funny. It makes much more sense to put her hair up. Maybe she doesn't think she is beautiful with her hair up. Everyone has some insecurities.
Am I the only one who hates it when people don’t clean and look after their neck as well as their face? I mean A) It differentiates the skin tones B) What did ur neck ever do to you?!
She lost me at makeup wipes...they're bad for the environment and not gentle enough for the skin. I love Tatcha's Camellia Cleansing Oil to take off makeup!
I watch these videos to pick up new skin care advice but I just can’t help click off the video when they pull out make up remover wipes and rub their face dry with towels 😫
There's millions of people who don't pat dry...and millions who didn't decades ago...who still have nice regular skin. It's not going to cause major wrinkles or loose skin.
if u are using it as a makeup remover it’s taken off immediately after... not given the opportunity to cause breakouts if u wash ur face properly.. & especially if u double cleanse
So makeup wipes give you wrinkles ladies! Coconut oil is not non-comedogenic which means it clogs your pores. And when she applys eye cream, she's using all three fingers I don't know why.
I've been using coconut oil on my face for years with no problems. My dry skin drinks it up. It's never caused me to break out. Everyone's skin is different.
@@dariamorgendorffer1650 Mineral Oil isn't bad. The product itself is non-comedogenic. Everyone from kids taking off Halloween face paint, grandmother's to drag queens have used it. It's has been around for years and I've never had an issue as someone with sensitive acne prone skin. Each to their own
This is one of the sloppiest night time routine ever. Also, I think someone is getting money from dr. Barbara. She is in every single video. And those ingredients you can buy them with better and cheaper brands.
Melanie Doan that is the stupidest thing I’ve read today. Dermatologists always recommend drugstore over luxury. Luxury products have same ingredients as drugstore just better packaging and better smell.
Great and cheap skincare does exist, but a lot of it is not in the drugstore, try cosrx, the ordinary, and la Roche posay. A lot of cheaper products simply don’t work and contain harmful ingredients so that’s why you don’t see lots of people using low cost skincare. The active ingredients that your skin loves (hylaronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin c, retinol) are EXPENSIVE to get them in concentrations that work and that’s just the way it is
This is horrible. I hope for her own benefit that she will see the comments here. Even make up wipes aside, she is veryyyy harsh with her skin. The tagging and pulling, the aggresive use of towel instead of patting dry, the way she slaps herself puting that oil, using 3 fingers at once to put eyecream on the delicate skin, not putting product on the neck. It is all just bad. She needs to be more gentle so her skin stays good years from now. Also the order is completely wrong. The mist goes first, then eye cream and then seal with oil. If the mask needs to be washed off after 15 minutes she should use it before the mist and remove instead of sleeping with it.
S. Jay i'm not trying to be rude but she's rich so she can afford facials and dermatologists and botox. us commoners (lmao) have to be extra gentle with our face to avoid damaging our skin so naturally we are going to cringe when we see a celebrity be this rough with their skin
In dermatology studies, they found no effects that "tugging" and "rubbing your skin" speeds up the process of wrinkles at all. That's all marketing BS and misinformation on behalf of estheticians and facialists. The eye area is delicate however the studies also found no evidence to support that constant rubbing or pulling speeds up the process of aging. Marketing and misinformed professionals continue to perpetuate that it will age. When in reality your skin barriers are stronger than marketing will lead you to believe. Just take this into consideration.
Michelle Belle cleansing oils foam into a lather , after that you use your second cleanser. Much more efficient and eco friendly than a cleansing wipe and much more effective in cleaning your face thoroughly.
Cherry Blossom but when you say effective what kind do you use? Because after I use an oil cleanser double or triple wash with it, I can use a makeup wipe after and see everything left over that the wipe takes off that was still there. So the ones I’ve used don’t remove as much.
It’s funny you guys are criticizing her skin care regimen and “cringing” at her methods but look at her look at the results!!! It obviously works her!!! You critics are hilarious 😂She knows what she’s doing and what’s with the makeup remover wipes snobbery! She doesn’t clean her face with them she said she wipes excess residue!!! When your skin looks like hers then you do a skin care tutorial
I’ve bought all her recommendations, I love all the products. I’ve seen tremendous change to my skin. I absolutely love the Dr. Barbra Sturm Enzyme Cleanser ..superb Olivia 👌🏼
Let's just stop dissing the woman because no matter how wrong she's doing everything, she's got skin better than all of us combined and multiplied by 10.
*Just put cleanser in her face without washing it* Wow I still have makeup, i need to wipe my face. Can someone explain her that she actually need to clean her face with her hands not just apply the cleanser? -_-
Why do y’all care so much so what if she’s rich doesn’t mean they can’t buy things that are cheap too let her do what she wants and stop telling her she’s doing things wrong if she likes the outcome let her do it Millions of people leave the faucet on and use makeup wipes commenting about it hurting the environment isn’t gonna change anything And stop complaining about her not putting her hair up she doesn’t have to if she wants to leave it down she can and if they don’t put their hair up it doesn’t mean they’re insecure that’s what a lot of people are saying it’s stupid it means nothing just that she prefers it down
Her skincare routine (and other celebrities) doesn't really matter that much because at the end of the day, they all go for facials at least twice a week. Which is why they don't care if they're being rough on their skin
It's probably a hydrating essence or something that can stay on the skin. Judging by the way she used those wipes, I'm sure she didn't know what she was doing and just said "15 minutes" just to sound educated.
Don’t wash hydrating masks off! You’re wasting your money, that stuff should stay on your skin overnight if possible. Always wash off drying/acne treatment/blemish reduction masks though.
I don’t wanna be mean but omg she’s so fair I didn’t even know, she looks so tanned all the time. How does that happen? I know makeup helps but like, does she put a ton or, how? Why?
Sol Alarcon I think it’s because most fair-skinned people fake tan from the feet up to their neck. They say self-tanners cause breakouts and it comes off more easily on the face so they never fake-tan the face, they just wear a foundation shade that matches their corporal tan :)
I laughed at this comment because I also thought, wow her skin is very pale. And when you mentioned she stays tan; I had to google her. You're right. There are so many fair skin White girls tanning tf out of themselves. Like, Ariana is so pale but hun will get sprayed to the high heavens and the next day be back to snow white pale.
why did she untie her hair after tying it up, though??? WHY??!! also, is that her natural bone structure? I've never seen anyone with such severe edges! kinda makes her look a bit older than her actual 27 years.
guys can you help me out i'm so confused. i always see on these videos that we shouldn't use makeup wipes bc it drags our skin. but then in other places i see that its good to massage our skin with our fingers/ even those roller things. but doesn't that drag the skin too? or is it because makeup wipes are rough in texture so the pulling is harsher than with fingers? i don't use wipes but i love to massage my face when i moisturize and when i'm washing my makeup off i also massage my skin to get the makeup off. i'm soooo confused lol
NattieMaddie Luv Sturm’s team sends products to models and actresses so they’ll use it and hopefully promote it. Just use what works for you and try samples of anything before spending your money.
I've eliminated wipes from my skincare routine for 2 years now and I can never use it again. The best way to remove my make-up is using cleansing oil. Oil just removes everything. After that, I'll go into my facial wash. There won't be any traces of make-up left after that. Not a single trace. And btw, idk, I feel like she still has some make-up left on her face. I get anxious thinking about it.
Imagine being able to afford all these amazing products and you still use gross Nuetrogena wipes and coconut oil! 😪 P.S. not saying they're gross for being inexpensive, just because they actually do more damage. Wipes tug too much and don't actually take all the makeup off / are such an environmental waste. Coconut oil is very iffy since it can cause many to break out with it's thick substance. Plus, it's a nightmare to remove without using super hot water and a cloth that'll cause more friction and rubbing.
She’s beautiful, but her face has clearly changed since her pageant days. She has had fillers in her cheeks, possibly a finesse nose job, Botox in between eyebrows, forehead and at the tail of the eyebrow for the eye lift. Also, Botox to slim and define her jaw and maybe a few other things as well. She looked beautiful before now the cheeks bones look alien 👽. Don’t be fooled by these celebrities who have aesthetic treatments at their disposal
Loved the video but three things that irked the shit out of me: 1. The fact she did all her skincare routine while having that diamond ring on. That's not good for the ring the products can get stuck in between the rings crevasses and can harm the hardware and the diamonds, let alone make the diamonds greasy and unpolished. Another thing is how unhygienic it is, the bacteria stuck in between the ring the dirt and grime surfacing the ring that was gathered throughout the day and wear can get onto your face and cause breakouts as well as cause your faces PH to be unbalanced. 2. TIE YOUR FUCKING HAIR. Either braid it before bed which will keep it from getting tangled throughout the night and keep it from breaking due to the friction caused from your pillow and its contact. Not only that but having your hair touch your face can make it oily and can also be unhygienic for your skin. 3. THAT IS NOT THE WAY YOU SHOULD USE A FACE ROLLER OR ANYTHING TO MASSAGE YOUR FACE. To use it properly you should ONLY roll it in the direction away from your face rolling it around free range like that literally does nothing to your face but makes it lose its elasticity and WILL make it sag. ALSO sterilize it every time before you use it please. Extra tip: when you massage your neck always go anti gravity so massage upwards don't pull your skin down with time that will only make you have a turkey neck. NOT DRAGGING JUST TRYING TO KEEP Y'ALL FROM DOING THE SAME MISTAKES AS OLIVIA. PLEASE IF YOUR GOING TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR SKIN DO IT RIGHT. AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR DIAMONDS PLEASE THEY DONT NEED TO BE SUBJECTED TO THAT, EVEN THOUGH DIAMONDS ARE TOUGH THEY CAN GO DULL YOU DON'T WANT THEM TO LOSE THEIR SHINE. THANKS Y'ALL IDK HOW THIS WILL HELP BUT I HOPE YOU LEARN SOMETHING FROM THIS. OLIVIA IF YOU SEE THIS I DON'T MEAN TO HURT YOU JUST PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOUR SKIN PROPERLY EVERY LITTLE THING CAN HAVE AN EFFECT ON IT IN THE FUTURE. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS OVER STERILIZING OR OVER THINKING HYGIENE IN SKINCARE.
I highly recommend Young Livings products! They have plant based with no harmful chemicals and have essential oils infused! They are amazing for you and the planet!
