My heart is heavy and broken with the loss of Olivia Newton-John, who passed away this last week. Our world lost one of the greatest human beings of our time. When I look back at the era in which she gave such love and devotion to us with her incredible, amazing, voice of an angel from heaven, I always regarded her as one of the best of the best. And now we face a world without her gentle soul to influence, inspire, and help us feel better about the aspects of life. She will be so sorely missed. But, on the other hand, I’m also glad she no longer must struggle with her terrible battle with cancer and that she is finally at peace. But God Almighty… I will miss her so!! A legend. A true star. An angel from heaven. The best of the best! Thank you dear Olivia for all that you gave us for so many years. You will always be in my heart until my final breath. I’m hopelessly devoted to you! I Cannot argue with anything you said,the day she died I was,heartbroken & in tears. I still cry sometimes hearing her music I always sing along,if I can keep it together without breaking down in tears again for missing her so.she was the first inspiration who got me into singing, she helped me through some hard times since I was abused 7-52 by ally blood relatives but 1. I Am now 55. Now I just want to keep her songs alive,so I sing them when I go out

I feel ya. She was one of a kind in her youth. She had charm, wit, beauty, talent and could be sexy or sweet. I honestly don't believe there's ever been any other woman like her ever in show business. Take all the great female singers. Some were quite pretty but none had the magnetic appeal of Olivia. You couldn't take your eyes off her and every facial expression and smile was golden. Her speaking voice was every bit as tantalizing as her singing voice.
I always thought Olivia was amazingly beautiful, from when I saw her when I was just 13 years of age , and she was my first crush , even right up to she sadly passed away , Olivia always kept her beauty not just in looks but her personality too and all the help she gave others . So sadly missed R.I.P Olivia ❤️😢
for me, she and ABBA's Agnetha are on the same level. Both looked and sound like angels. They had once planned to do an album together. Pity that project didn't happen.
What a group of legends here alone. Sadly now they have all passed with Olivia in 2022 & Bert Newton in 2021. I pray that heaven does exist & that they are all reunited again to catch up on memories & we won't forget them. Olivia looks especially stunning here but she always was.

Hi Leigh, came to your second most popular video to say Thank You for the Judy Garland last performance. It’s no wonder that Olivia Newton John is your number two. Both women had a big part of my attention as a young boy and have kept it all these years later. I was working in a pub in Boston Massachusetts USofA the day Olivia died. A customer gave me the news. I was alone veins the bar and took a moment in the keg cooler, when I returned I Spotified a playlist of Olivia’s hits. I designed a cocktail called “Pink Lady” it was just a little shot that was free to customers and everyone who came in that afternoon and evening took part in the celebration of Olivia’s beautiful life. Like Judy and her generation Olivia wasn’t missed by hers. Thank you and thank you to anyone reading. Both too soon but made their mark with their brief lives. I know Olivia lasted longer but it was still too soon. XO
I was a huge fan as a kid in the 70s & early 80s, then kind of lost track of ONJ over time. But watching this interview now as an adult I can see how her intelligence, wit, and confidence contributed to that overall charisma she had. She's an easy conversationalist and holds her own with the male interviewers back in those days, some of whom were kind of skeevy. Her speaking voice is lovely. As she said, she wasn't a "belter," but there's a tone in her voice that's unique, warm, and smooth, and she was smart about how she used her voice. One could say she wasn't an Ella Fitzgerald, but she was a natural singer with her own sound. She didn't try to copy anyone else, and was instantly recognizable. My kid-self idolized her, but my adult-self really appreciates her.

I always thought she looked like Christy Brinkley. Imagine having something about your looks and essence that is so special it reminds people of Farrah, Christy and Diana. She is so many wonderful things wrapped up in one person.
I was lucky enough to go on a cruise from Los Angeles to Sydney, in 1980 ( on the Love Boat, Pacific Princess) 28 days. well after flying back to So Cal, one morning October 1980 I turn on local TV and THIS show was on???? I remember this so well, because when I was in Australia I saw Xanadu in a Sydney movie theater. I was in a Sydney department store and they had a HUGE Xanadu display for the Soundtrack.
I feel that way about America. So much has changed since those interviews, but in the last 2-3 years especially. She was a wonderful ambassador to your beautiful country and a blessing to ours. Rip lovely lady
Lovely Olivia, I grew up loving her and John Travolta!!! I really don't believe there was nothing between them but they have the right to keep it private. They have remained friends all these years and that's so wonderful!
Wowee! The money that must've been made for Olivia and John Farrar! He wrote some of her biggest hits, most of them, and produced as well! Anytime you hit it big in the biz is a bit of a miracle I would think. A miracle, and a whole lot of talent. Luck of the gene pool is Olivia!
