John's a class act! I met him accidentally at a Janet Jackson concert in Vancouver around 1990. Super humble, cool guy! But Olivia was just beyond. She just oozes warmth, kindness and a spirit that is sadly missed these days. Not only is she an incredible singer that didn't need autotune or elaborate musical arrangement to showcase her talent, but she was incredibly beautiful. I'm sure I can confidently say pretty much any guy here from 40 to 60 had a childhood crush on her... I'm certainly no exception. Whether you thought Xanadu was a hot mess of a movie, we all know they left the theater feeling just a little better than you went going in. A simpler time. Much much missed. Like OLJ. Yeah, I saw another interview with another guest. Took me a while to figure out that interviewer repeated her questions so that they could take other camera angles.
@@MsVicki73 budget and space reasons, I suppose. If they had a second camera, then they'd need a second cameraman. Looks like the guests are used to one-camera interviews being done this way.

The sound on these clips is terrible. I have my volume on almost maximum and am still struggling to hear this and others!! Other clips on you tube are playing fine.
The way they filmed this was super weird and awkward.. like why after the interview is the camera having to face the interviewer and she is pretending to react to things that aren't happening.. like they will splice that in later or something.. didn't they have more than 1 camera so that they could have one on the interviewer while she was actually interviewing them in real time? Seriously I have never seen something like that ever. It had to have been super awkward for Olivia and John to sit through her doing that after the fact.
