[English translation of the lyrics below]
ROŚLINNA
Wieczna bezgwiezdna noc
wlewa w usta czerń co dławi.
Nie mieści pustyni bieli
krucha szkatułka czaszki...
sypią się na zewnątrz
ziarna śniegu coraz cięższe.
Coraz trudniej iść po pas
we własnej klęsce.
Z ciemności zawsze patrzą
oczy drzew.
Gdy spod półprzymkniętych powiek
dojrzą mój niepewny krok,
w mroku mignie ciemny kształt
i zanim go mój wzrok dogoni,
już buk wyciąga dłoń
i chwyta, i chroni.
Cokolwiek się stanie, będę mieć rośliny.
Zieloność znów upomni się o mnie,
wyciągnie po mnie dłonie liści
z zakamarków miasta,
rzuci mi pod stopy
ptasie gniazdka z puchu i mchu,
i razem z nią podążę dalej,
rosnąc ku latu.
Obrazy wizji rozmyją się w łzach,
lecz boski przepych roślin
zawsze porwie wzrok,
gdy pod naskórkiem świata
nieprzerwanie brzmi
prześwięty, święty, święty
spokój rzeczy wiecznych
- moja zielona przepełnia.
Cokolwiek się stanie, będę mieć rośliny.
Kolejny raz zanurzyć się
w trawy które wszystkim brzmią,
ulecieć w wir dźwięczących słońc,
w kłosy wplątać wzrok zmęczony,
opiekuńcze ciepło ziemi
chłonąć z ciał miodowych łąk...
Cokolwiek się stanie, będę mieć rośliny
OF PLANTS
Eternal starless night
pours choking blackness into the mouth.
Fragile casket of the skull
is not enough to hold the desert of white...
pouring out
snow grains ever heavier.
It’s getting harder to go further
treading in my own defeat up to my waist.
From the darkness always look
the eyes of trees.
When from beneath their half-closed eyelids
they notice my hesitant step,
in the darkness flashes a dark shape
and before my eyes can catch it,
the beech is stretching out its hand
and grabs, and protects.
Whatever happens, I will have plants.
Greenness will reclaim me again,
it will pull the palms of the leaves
out of every nook and cranny of the city,
it will throw at my feet
birds’ nests of fluff and moss,
and joining it I will follow further,
growing up to the summer.
The images of the visions will blur in tears,
but the divine splendour of plants
will always capture the sight,
when under the skin of the world
incessantly sounds
the most sacred, hallowed, divine
serenity of eternal things
- my green over-fullness.
Whatever happens, I will have plants
To dive once again
into the grasses sounding of everything,
to fly into the whirl of the sonorous sun,
to entangle the tired sight into the cereal ears,
to absorb the caring warmth of the earth
from the bodies of honey meadows…
Whatever happens, I will have plants
