But if you look at the history of the older scrolls, the imperials have been very racist in the past as well, and I really don’t blame the new words for wanting their land for themselves. @brickzebra ' This war broke out because the Empire lost the other by yielding to the enemy. The Empire is doing nothing while the Altmer grow stronger. And the Empire already lost the last war, so why would they win the next? It's not looking good for both sides, but atleast we're actively fighting against our oppressors, while some of you keep kissing their boots and just sit around, waiting for the next inevitable war. Trust me, I would love to fight alongside the Empire and I do believe it's stronger, but I simply don't believe that waiting for the right time, or whatever you're planning on doing, is going to help anyone. And I believe Ulfric never planned to attack Cyrodiil, he only wanted to take Skyrim "back".

I can't stand for racism, not in videogames either, so I did end up siding with the Empire. But only under the pretense of joining. I was hoping there'd be a questline later on where I could murder the higher-ups and basically reform and unite everyone. Sadly, Skyrim didn't go that far.

@@emugeek_yt that's your stormcloak thinking ..... as things stand, the Thalmor would win the war easilly. the Empire is playing diplomacy and undercover tactics, building its power and stuff, while the rebellion in Skyrim would weaken them even more.

Technically, yes. The Orsimer were first. They were first, but they were pretty much a moving race, so they didn't stay long. I think the Falmer kicked them out.

@@aaron8342 Tullius has zero honour. He was more than happy to execute innocent people because they were seen near Stormcloak rebels. Ironically, that convinced me to join the Stormcloak rebellion in the end so Tullius reaps what he sows. I didn't actually kill him though, only Ulfric, the true High King has that privilege in my eyes.

Your emperor is dead, and the way the Thalmor use the Legion, they make it look like the biggest toolbox since Lorkhan used the et'Ada to create Mundus. I would know... I was there.

Considering the Stormcloak Rebellion is essentially the Skyrim White Supremacy movement, you made the right call. Now, hear me out for a moment. As easy as it is to understand the hatred Ulfric has for the Thalmor, and for the Empire for agreeing to their terms, it doesn't stop there. The Dunmer in Windhelm are relegated to the most decaying section of the city and offered no assistance from their Jarl. Now, remember that the Aldmeri Dominion is made up almost exclusively of Altmer. The Bosmer of The Green Pact don't agree with them, and most of the Dunmer people are too busy trying to rebuild after the eruption of Red Mountain to pick a side. Khajiit are seen to be nothing more than gypsy thieves, and are not allowed inside the Hold cities. Argonians are only allowed to work and live on the docks of Windhelm, not within the actual city. Both races are seen as little more than Criminals and Drug addicts. Orcs are seen as nothing more than savages by the Stormcloaks, while they have found gainful employment as smiths and quartermasters for The Imperial Legion. While nothing has been explicitly said by Ulfric or his Stormcloaks about Redguard or Bretons, the Imperial Race is detested by default. Think about it. What is the rallying cry of The Stormcloaks? "Skyrim is for THE NORDS!" They aren't just trying to drive out the empire, as their version of the folk song suggests, they want to cleanse Skyrim of any Non-Nords just like Ysgramor did ages past. The Legion just wants stability. Signing the White-Gold Concordat was just a way for Emperor Titus Mede II to stop the unnecessary death of HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Imperial Subjects across Tamriel. Remember, it isn't the Empire restricting the worship of Talos (aka Tiber Septim, the founder of the Empire as we know it), but the Aldmeri Dominion.

Cazy243 I think you misunderstanded me, when i said 'Skyrim wouldn't put a fight' i meant that Skyrim wouldn't have a chance to stop the Thalmor when they declare the war, it's obvious that they will attack Skyrim if the Stormcloacks win the civil war. Because they will be weaker than ever, even worse than the Empire, if they want to drive the Thalmor back, the Empire has the best shot, that's why they have to win the civil war. It's well known, divide and conquer, they need to stand together.
