UKOJENIE
Pod bladym księżycem, po jesiennej mgle,
płynie cień jak zimy omen przyzywając śnieg.
Rozszerzone strachem oczy zamknie snem,
w pociemniałe myśli zwierząt dobrą szepcze śmierć.
Ciche czary mrozu wieszczą niemoc ciał.
Biel wypełni pustkę, stłumi echa leśnych skarg,
w świdrującej ciszy ból zastygnie w lód,
spłynie z nieba ukojenie, odrętwienie dusz.
Droga pod górę ciągnęła się wiecznie,
by wreszcie zniknąć w nocy.
Ciało osłabło, ćmią członki omdlałe,
głowa ku ścieżce ciąży.
Błoga się nicość rozlewa po ciele,
niby zbawienne ciepło,
żąda by ulec, położyć się w śniegu,
choć to oznacza pewną
śmierć.
Tętni w czaszce pulsu huk, ryczy serca krwawy strzęp,
każdy mknący w niebo jęk przybiera twoją postać.
Udręczony każdym tchem mam za jedno - śmierć czy sen.
Jeśli mój zabierze ból - chcę tu zasnąć, chcę tu zostać.
Idzie zwierząt śladem z cienia tkany kształt,
myślom śpiewa pocieszenie, zgon łupinom ciał.
Mrok w zapachu jodeł, przepowiednia snu.
Biały grób trupiej jesieni sypie nocny chłód.
Śniegi uciszą widm wycie po lasach snu białą kołysanką,
zasną bez bólu cierpiące zwierzęta, duchy im ślepia zamkną.
Zbolałe ciała spoczynkiem obdarzy
spełnionych tęsknot demon,
i pójdą za nim, gdy przyjdzie, a każdy
krok jego będzie śmiercią
roślin.
A SOLACE
Under the pale moon, over the autumn fog,
the shadow flows like winter’s omen summoning the snow.
With a dream he will close the eyes dilated by fear,
into darkened thoughts of animals he whispers a good death.
Silent spells of frost proclaim the weakness of bodies.
White will fill the emptiness, suppress echoes of forest complaints,
in the piercing silence the pain will freeze into ice,
solace, numbness of souls will come down from heaven.
The road uphill went on forever,
to finally disappear in the night.
The body weakened, fainted limbs ache
head weighs down towards the path.
A blissful nothingness spills over the body,
like a salutary warmth,
it demands to succumb, to lie down in the snow,
although that means certain
death.
Thunder of heartbeats pulse in the skull, a bloody shred of the heart roars,
every groan soaring up to the sky takes on your form.
Tormented with every breath - death or sleep is all the same to me.
If it takes away my pain - I want to fall asleep here, I want to stay here.
The shape woven of shadow follows animal traces,
he sings consolation to thoughts, death to the nutshells of bodies.
Darkness in the scent of fir-trees, prophecy of a dream.
Night chill mounds the white grave for cadaverous autumn.
The snow will silence spectres’ howling in the forests with a white lullaby of sleep,
suffering animals will fall asleep without pain,
the ghosts will close their eyes.
The demon of fulfilled longing
will bestow a rest upon aching bodies ,
and they will follow him when he comes
and his every step will be death
of plants.
