Wike should understand that state governors are very powerful in Nigeria. You cannot win a sitting governor in a political fight. Allow Sim Fubara to complete his four year term. In 2027, Wike should try to unseat the incumbent governor if Wike thinks he is politically powerful. Tinubu didn’t fight Ambode despite their sharp disagreements , Akpabio failed woefully when he tried to fight former governor Udom Emmanuel and Chimaroke Nnamani failed when he tried to fight former governor Sullivan Chime. It doesn’t work that way. Stop fighting Sim Fubara , rather plan for 2027 general elections.

What these local government chairmen did not understand is that by section 7 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria [ as amended], the life and the death of local government are in the hands of the governor of the state, even this exorbitant power does not lie in the hand of the President of the country or the court. If you study the section of the constitution referred to above, you will know that the governor of a state can do anything he likes with the administration of the local governments of its state. This is the power some governors use many a times to refusing to conducting local government elections in their states. Even where they conduct elections, the governors determine who wins or loses in the election. All the machineries to do this are in their possession. Be as it may, this is one of the reasons we are fighting for the local government autonomy. And the gospel truth is that there can never be a local government autonomy in Nigeria until the decree given to us by the AbdulSalam military junta which is called the 1999 Constitution is arrested and assassinated in a cold blood without a mercy and put in the dustbin of history. Doing this will navigate way to a newly people's oriented constitution where there will be a genuine constitutional conference of the people of this country to give to ourselves a people's constitution to be governed with.

I'm very happy with the way Channels tv handled the so called Nwanosike. The is a violent person who believes that he has the monopoly of violence. People like him should not be given a voice or a platform to breed violence. They are making Rivers State ungovernable by following the instructions of Wike. Though i am not in support of Wike, but the River state Governor needs to obey the court orders. He has to respect our laws. All these actions of his will backfire soon. A state of Emmergency will be decleared soon, and Fubara will have no state to govern.
