Olympian High School Eagle Band performing their musical selection entitled Colonel Bogey by Kenneth J. Alford at the 64th Annual Arcadia Festival of Bands Band Review located in the city of Arcadia, California, on Saturday, November 18, 2017.
1:02 - Not part of the music :) Band student walking on sidewalk (opposite judges' stand) accidentally dropped his/her cymbal.
Results: Class A
92.75 - 1st place Band - Congratulations!
84.95 - 4th place Auxiliary
77.90 - 16th place Open Class Military Drum Major (5 pt. penalty)

Not part of the school but I like looking at other bands and this one certainly gains my respect being a British exchange student who’s staying in California for my high school career.

I’m hoping that the drum major is a senior cause that would really hurt my self esteem if he was the same grade as me. That was some really good baton control, very smooth and sharp.

You're welcome, Mr. Mabrey. I remember seeing your band for the first time at the Chino Band Review in 2007. It's incredible to see how much the band has grown and improved under your leadership. I look forward to seeing and capturing many more wonderful performances. I enjoyed this particular performance as Colonel Bogey is rarely played (for parade band at least) and ever since your band performed it, it became an instant favorite of mine.
