In February 2020 on President’s Day Weekend, we ventured out to the Olympic peninsula from Seattle on a spontaneous 2-day road trip. We camped at Kalaloch Beach Campground and hiked from Kalaloch to Browns Point. On day 2, we visited Ruby Beach at high tide, then did some short hikes in the rain in the Hoh Rainforest. We stopped at Hurricane Ridge on the way home and took the Bainbridge Island ferry back to Seattle.

Thank you for putting this together. I’m visiting from Florida and just getting to the first stop on your tour. This works out great! I got here a little too early so it’s four in the morning. Just waiting for the sun to come up!

I've been to many of the US national Parks over 50+ years, and Olympic NP is one of my top 3 favorites, along with Glacier in Montana and Bryce Canyon in Utah (although my honorable mentions are Sequoia KIng's Canyon in California and Rocky Mountain in Colorado)! I've been here 7 different times, and never tire of the surroundings and the primeval feel of the rain forest. I've always felt that there are really 3 parks in one: Olympic Range, temperate rain forest and beaches. It's one of the most beautiful places on the continent (and I'm glad that there was sufficient appreciation for it, otherwise it would have been clear cut decades ago! Glad you enjoyed the trip!!!

I could be wrong but as a native of western WA I have only heard the pronunciation of Kalaloch as Kalayloch. 🤔 Great video... ☝
