I’ve been really studying the Bible about this lately. The Bible tells us God hates evil and God hates those who do evil. Period. This opening ceremony was pure evil sprinkle some nice (Celine Dion etc.) Nope. Absolute pure demonic evil and we need to call it what it is. Mercedes and John, you are perfectly correct. Bless you guys for speaking truth. We are to pray for them. We are though to call it what it is, demonic and sinful.

Its so sad that the world is coming to such depravity. The devil is NOT going to give up. He's been at it for a long time. I plan to stand strong in my faith and obedience to my Lord and serve my fellow man/woman in any way I can.

So this has been going on for years in Hollywood, music and even past Olympics, but people are waking up to this nonsense, we have had enough

Yes we all need to STAND UP AND FIGHT BACK. GOD wants us to fight evil. He does not want us to just stand by and complain about how bad things are and getting worse. If we don't fight fire with fire, we are part of the problem as well.

So sad, I remember as a child. My parents would turn on the Olympics and all of us would sit around and cheer the USA, and when they won a medal, we all felt so proud! I can’t even imagine a family watching the Olympics and having their children subjected to what was going on, it must’ve been horrific for them. 😢😡 GOD Bless you both and your family. 🙏💖🙏

I just said to my sister a few hours ago we were talking about it too. I said remember when mom use to turn on the Olympics back in the day. All week long. I had no desire this summer, this is a perfect example why. Even Harley is going woke ! Everything is going to crap! No morals and values anymore

Like you I got out of the "normal" society just in time. About 8 years ago. Very happy in my little farming town out in the middle of Nowhere.... I don't have to watch things like that. I can either watch the world go crazy or I can turn it all off.... You know the world didn't just all of a sudden go crazy. It was always this crazy but you didn't let all these crazy people right into your front room via a computer and the internet. Now you can just see them easier because they are all right there at the touch of a screen.
The Olympics originally were dedicated to those Pagan gods for nearly 12 centuries. And performed in the nude. As a Pagan I think those gods should still be honored.
We had our two grandchildren watching it. It was terrible. I hope our young athletes do well, but I will not watch the Olympics this time hoping that NBC won’t get good ratings and maybe next time they may think about what they show, but I doubt it. You are supposed to be forgiving, and I hope I am. But we need to remember, we are in the world, but the world shouldn’t be in us. And it hard to separate both. But I can turn my TV off and not support networks that show stuff like last night. Thank yall for speaking up!!

To put that opening for our Olympics when we have families and kids that watch this because they want to be like these other gymnast or swimmers whatever to put that out there was horrific terrifying disgusting
I didn't watch the opening ceremony. I was encouraged to watch by a family member who was going to watch. Pray and pray often. I am currently on day 210 of bible in a year and I look forward to each new reading each morning. Stay prayed up.

Just found you guys & subscribed. I didn't bother to watch opening ceremony because I was already annoyed w/the kneeler who got to carry our flag (LJ) that he disrespected. Look up 2012 Olympics in London, they had us scratching our heads with all the hospital beds, people in scrubs with masks & floating those gigantic "viruses". Just gets more weird every yr. Can't wait to watch you guys.
Turning the other cheek is not the only thing we are to do, according to the Bible. Look at what Jesus did in the temple, when he threw out the moneychangers, and overturned the tables, etc. He was not turning the other cheek, he was standing up to these degenerates and letting them know he was not going to stand for them defiling his house of prayer. The overwhelming evil in the world today is our temple, and this is our time to stand up against these evil degenerates. No longer can we sit back, pray and hope things get better. We must get involved in any way we are able, and fight against evil! Ecclesiastes 3:7-8 says it all, "a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace." Americans generally just want to be left alone to live their lives, but we have to also realize there are times we must fight evil, and that time is now.
this is why I record EVERYTHING so that I can "quality" check first before including my children. My schedule is wide open now because we won't be watching the olympics.

It featured a stylised pocket history of the story and culture of Britain, including James Bond 007 and The Queen parachuting out from a helicopter to the stadium below ( obviously not the actual Queen ! ). I would say the Olympics can be talked about in almost any type of video. It has something for everyone. The opening ceremonies should not have any commercials no matter what. I watched a bit of it, but finding a live stream with no interruption did not exist.
