Parliament Session: Amid MPs' demands for more flights, Speaker Om Birla praised their ambition for requesting new airports. Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu responded by highlighting that similar demands were previously made for railways, noting that "airways is the new railways."

India should get rid of restrictive bilateral service policy. Increase seats with Gulf airlines and southeast Asian airlines . Common passengers are suffering due to high airfare due to lack of seats .

American's and Russians are designing 5th generation aircraft currently and more. My question is when India can manufacture a commercial successful internal combustion engine so that it can propel our cars and buses and aircrafts, Even after 75years of independence our scientist cannot replicate this engine, its a fact. But when in future India can design a 100 percent 1st generation aircraft. Or IC engines are monopoly of those countries who fought first and second world war ? Does that efffort will remain as dream itself since India being a land of round table conferences! N.B. Railways and ISRO uses a different version of IC engine agreed.
