OM606 vs OM602 sound comparison 

I like both equally. However, the OM606 sounds more industrial, like a train.

Went in my garage and saw these two cars parked right next to each other. Love it

I am so happy with om606 engine...i put it in my w202..

OM606 - you have worn out bushes in the schock absorber of the belt tensioner. That's why it makes the noise so unpleasant.
