Jammu & Kashmir National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah reiterated that restoring Article 370 is central to his party's ideology but admitted it won’t happen in the current assembly's term. He stressed that "a couple of government changes" at the center are needed before addressing the issue, likening the effort to the BJP’s decades-long pursuit on Article 370 and the Ram Mandir. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared Article 370’s abrogation as "history" during the BJP’s manifesto launch, vowing to protect reservations for Gujjar and Bakarwal communities.

@@nawazahmad1373 No it's not possible as in 2023 Supreme Court Judgement The bench said that article 370 of the Constitution was a 'temporary provision' and the president had the power to revoke it. If somebody wants it back you would need special majority in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and then assent of the President, which is simply Impossible unless a very pro Islamist govt comes to power.

@@nawazahmad1373 Name the judgements please, even if it did that does not matter, Since a five judge bench has already declared that removing article 370 is completely legal. To overturn this judgement a Seven judge bench would need to re hear the case and say that Article 370 can be re-instated, and even if it is legal how would you get special majority in both houses of parliament.

Article 370 gave India only a limited say in the affairs of Jammu and Kashmir , including Ladakh , which suited both China and Pakistan . China was always a player in the so called Kashmir dispute overtly only between India and Pakistan. China wanted Ladakh to link up with Pakistan and Shaksgam valley . State Govt of Jammu and Kashmir , including Ladakh , was sympathetic to Pakistan ‘s and ultimately to China ‘s interests , especially , in Ladakh. Example Late Sheikh Abdullah refused to allow His Holiness The Dalai Lama and his followers to settle in Ladakh when they took refuge in India . Ladakh was most suitable for Tibetans both from climate and cultural points of views. India ‘s direct control over both Kashmir and Ladakh has put an end to the China - Pakistani collusion . Present standoff in Ladakh is a joint China- Pakistan conspiracy. Now ,China fears losing Tibet and Aksai Chin and Pakistan losing Gilgit and Baltistan" ........................................................................ ...........
