Superb. The pipes give such an atmospheric feel to the song. I love the bagpipes. You don't hear them used in modern music very often but this really works. Such an uplifting version. This is why I moved to Scotland. The pipes are so underrated.
Very fitting especially since Jehanne's personal guard were comprised of Scots and accompanied Jehanne into O'rleans. She had over 400 Scots in her army. Jehanne really was a gift from above, what she achieved in her tragically short life was nothing short of miraculous. Fantastic track, one of the most emotive ever penned. Jehanne will never be forgotten.
This really should have been released as an alternative (re)mix because it really works. It's a heck of a lot more authentic sounding and fits the song like a glove.
