The 87-piece limited edition Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer Co-Axial Master Chronometer GMT 220.93.43.22.99.001 is encased in 43mm of platinum surrounding a platinum dial with globe projection grand feu enamel center dial on a brown leather strap. Features include METAS Master Chronometer certification, hours, minutes, seconds, date, GMT, and world time. The watch also measures 14.5mm in thickness and 50mm from lug-to-lug.

A lot of worldtimer watches have really busy distracting dials. I really like how this keeps the city name rings kind of subtle. This could very definitely be worn with a suit. Platinum as usual is stealth wealth. For the rest of us, there will be a gorgeous blue dial version in steel for at least $30k less coming out later this year. Whomever is doing Omega's case/dial designs, but they are on a serious roll.

Tim, great reviews as always. An additional benefit of the minderless clasp is the minimal contact between clasp and skin. It is predominantly the tucked-in leather strap that lies against the wrist instead of the folded metal clasp. So it's not only more aesthetically pleasing, but also more comfortable.

This is really cool!!!!! Omega rock! Is simply mind blowing! From the case shape, dial, hands all are nicely done up. Wow!!! This is high horology... The ceramic dial is amazing!!! Thanks Tim for the review... oh Tim is on a well deserved holiday.

I have the seamaster 300m and a speedmaster triple date. I think this will be the next one to my collection, For me it would be the stainless steel blue dial. When i can aford one, Might take me a few years to get there.

1000lightyrs ok it's a nice watch but omega needs to pull out of the mid end luxury market and topple their arch rival before coming anywhere near haute horology such as those you listed.

Omega can go way above Rolex in the haute horology zone. But Rolex will always be Rolex... simple, reliable Rolex.

For a 100K I'd expect a lifetime warranty on a watch. Btw, full rose gold including bracelet version is less than 3rd of a price. And people say Rolex is overpriced. Would be hard to justify the price.

what's the different besides the gold from this and Caliber 8938 , in the 2019 release of the Aqua terra worldtimer ?????

christoffer pedersen The 8939 features a Sedna gold rotor and balance bridge. Movement number +1 for gold is standard Omega practice. See also 8900/8901 etc.
